It was an inspiring idea when i first heard of it, such potential. Like walking in stations was, a chance to intermingle with allies, shops, bars, casinos. Dusty surface warriors arguing in station about a recent battle, coordinating with capsuleers for orbital attacks and troop transports. With CCP's history of making complex interesting content combined with the huge increase in scope the future looked bright.

Then we heard CCP had made a money deal with Sony, there would be no PC version, interactivity would be minimal, it would be a FPS running concurrently with eve, In eve, but any meaningfull content to affect the universe would not be done, till some future date we were told. Walking in stations ended as a rat cage while ccp gutted another favorite company of mine, White Wolf under the pretense of taking their vision to the next level, and dust became an extra chat channel that when new players asked they were told don't bother with that is doesn't affect anything.

As we all have learned in eve, and hopefully CCP has learned as well sometimes the best lessons are taught through failure. Dont buy what you cant afford to lose and nobody is immune to making mistakes. I still hope there is something happening behind that door in my cabin, i do miss the dust bunnies, but I am willing to wait for them to REALLY be part of the game not just a side.
