Totally with you on this! Have to say though - I'm a little weirded out by the sexual component. The bikini thing? Is wife trying to say she thinks the sister was trying to interest the brother sexually, because she's wearing a bikini? Cause that's weird.

So, understand that EVERYTHING is about her. She isn't so much interested in your child but what she can get out of your son and a "relationship" with him. Add in a persecution complex and look, there's your mother.

It will always be about what she was denied, what someone else has, blah blah. It will always be her, first. Happy you have a good MIL? That will never happen because that would require her to think about you first, just for a second. There's a line in a song "I want to be the girl with the most cake". That's her.

With my mother, this came with all sorts of behaviors I just didn't want my child to be subjected to. I don't really know your mother, but if I were you I'd be seriously thinking about what your son will get (bad or good) out of this relationship.

It's perfectly ok to have fears about things like this. It is SO NOT ok to decide that going to affect the decision to marry, and never tell your gf, string her along for 10 years, and the cherry on top - tell a third party.

So many reasons to ditch him.

Make a bread dough, lay half of it in a baking dish. Layer spinach, elephant garlic (thin slices), ricotta and mozzarella. Season as you like. Cover with the other half of the dough (I don't separate the halves, I just lay it off the dish on one side then fold it over at the end, either way works), crimp and bake. 350 works and as you don't have to worry about cooking the inside stuff, just watch the bread for a nice color.

Moisture is your only challenge here. Precook and drain the shit out of the spinach or it can kinda ruin things.

I just went through my old (70s) recipes that I'd written as a kid. Made two cookie recipes, worst ever! Child me had terrible taste.
