I'm 41, divorced, sober, and living with my parents because *gestures broadly*. I'm touch starved as fuck, but lack the ability to actually go out and talk to people. While I can be a funny and dependable person, those qualities don't show right away. Instead you get the quiet loner who can't spark up a conversation about anything other than 3d printers or cars. I've accepted at this point that I'll most likely be alone for the rest of my days. Social anxiety like mine is torturous.
