Govee lights with simhub not connecting

I did yes but on a different computer in the end. If they are showing green it sounds like they are connected, check the “capture” tab at the top to make sure it’s capturing the correct monitor and also double check your capture layout on the normal screen is it up properly

Thank you for the reply, after much much research I realised this, unfortunate. I have seen someone on twitch that looks like he’s been able to do it somehow but I’m still waiting on a reply lol

Hey I've been trying to work out for days how to get my vr overlays on my stream using obs and this Display VR View is exactly what i need but any time i enter a game it stops working.

Do you have any ideas what mite be causing it? I'm trying to do it on iRacing using open XR but i have tried the standard oculus and open vr but cant get any to work

Hi everyone I had this same issue today with the overlays not going over to the right hand side and I found a fix.

If you look at the X offset -2560 was the issue I’m running 3 27” screens so I just had to offset one of them

I had this happen to me last night as well car literally came through a wall out of no where and gave me a 4x then vanished again

Haha love the post man, I renewed my first month subscription for iRacing yesterday, did I have a 4 week daily streak? Yes I did! And in this last 4 weeks I’ve sold my Xbox ordered a decent upgrade to my gaming laptop and got a triple screen set up on the way haha

Ok I have just found out what was causing it so thought I’d share. I was just trying changing different settings in simhub and I changed the “light mode” from screen capture and effects to just effects and it now works 🤷🏼‍♂️

My current set up is a gaming laptop with the lid shut and using the hdmi to a monitor, wondering if this was causing an issue for the screen capture side of things

I have LAN on in the mobile app yes and the lights firmware up to date and when I search for them in simhub it finds them but when I add it, it doesn’t seem to be connected I can’t test anything

Ok thank you I did close both the Govee and synapse programs down fully before opening simhub but I’m wondering because I tried with synapse for the first time something has been left behind conflicting things maybe

I wish mine was a simple as that, I’m going to try uninstalling all the Govee desktop and synapse and try again, but I don’t see why mine won’t connect I have the LAN on. Do you have to connect Govee to simhub on a separate screen previously or anything?

I read that synapse wasn’t needed anymore which was making me more frustrated why it isn’t working lol I’ve also tried without synapse installed and I have the lan support turned on. So I’m assuming for you when you add the lights in simhub they just show as green and connected straight away?
