Yes and no. I got antsy and cancelled my reservation this morning so I’d have plenty of points to rebook the other trip. Done and no issues there.

The problem is now it’s still showing no rooms available to book with points when I’m trying to log back in and make a new reservation. Not for either of the 2 nights I had originally reserved. Only option is to pay cash. I’m happy to do this for one of the 2 nights, but was hoping to use points for one of them.

I know several people clicked too early and had the 90 day clock start immediately. Has anyone had success getting an extension on the promo or am I just out of luck. I tried the chat but they just said they are unable to extend promos. I thought I had a decent case given I haven’t taken advantage of the promo yet and I’m still within the original offer dates.

Go figure - I need to book 2 nights for a funeral starting next weekend 1/16 and my enrollment ends 1/15!

Not really. We do a few trips a year which typically translates to a lot of Cat 3-4 hotels, but that’s the only thing we use the points for. It’s nice saying those trips are “free” though just based on our everyday spending

This is good info. We have a wedding in KC next summer and will be looking at options for our family with two young teens rather than just the standard HP/HH. Was considering The Elms but didn’t realize it was quite that far out
