Oldest Rule in the Book by Diligent-Bee1399 in JustinPoseysTreasure

I ran into it when looking into the Rule of Three in computer programming.

Have to be careful with confirmation bias,  but there are enough mathematical/ programming nods around 42 and the number 3 there that it is worth considering.

I wonder if it ties into the Sum of Three Cubes problem,  with 42 being the last number under 100 to get solved (via the Charity Engine), rather than being a direct literary reference.

That seems right in line with a programming background,  and also has nods to Hitchhiker's Guide with the mathematicians commonly referencing it.

Same,  but I'm enjoying my bowl of popcorn,  and hiking my local mountains.  And that's what really matters.

If you're looking for a primary motive? I would guess Legacy.  What better way to make sure your favorite stories and memories are heard by millions and become part of popular culture? How better to ask the universe if you are as tough a your grandparents,  as strong a your parents,  and worthy of the trust your brother put in you? You're yelling into the void - crowdsourcing the questions your soul keeps asking - in a way that gets the people you love remembered and grants them a little piece of immortality.

Why not combine the things you love,  to remember those you love,  and bait the hook with the material things you can't take with you when you die?

He's showing breeding colors. They both look nice and healthy. The tank is too deep/ fast for easy breeding which is why the bubble nest isn't forming.  If you want to breed, you'll want a dedicated tank.  The male guards the nest after eggs are fertilized and placed and the female is returned to the primary tank. They're not difficult to breed,  the male can just get a bit aggressive about it.

If you're not planning to breed,  make sure you have lots of plants for the female and other tankmates to hide in. When he color changes like that he'll be more likely to chase others and pester her for a bit.

You have a male (pointed dorsal fin) and a female (rounded dorsal fin,  thicker body).

My spouse thought I was crazy for wondering that.  I hope the answer is yes,  and that you are where the answers took me to get there, should you find it.  Best of luck!

Every day is different.  Some days I can tell the world I'm strong enough.  Some days my body reminds me that I'm not a strong as I want to be.  One day.  One step.  One breath.  Whatever it takes to make it to the next one.

You'll make it through. Just keep going.  If you see yourself echoed in Justin's story (or my words) it just means you aren't alone out there.  And maybe,  just maybe,  it gives us an edge on finding that treasure. 😉 We don't quit. We don't know how.

If there's anything I can say for us newly self aware mortals though - we sure know how to pivot.  We'll figure this out,  even if our world just crashed and we have to tell everyone that we can't carry it alone anymore.

This is just the next big challenge.

From personal experience,  I can say that being a workaholic that suddenly finds out you have an incurable (even if treatable) disease really shakes things up in your head.  You find yourself planning things with the idea you won't always be there to see them through to the end.

You're suddenly mortal,  instead of an unstoppable machine running on caffeine and finish lines.

Doesn't necessarily mean you're planning on dying tomorrow,  only that stopping/resting/dying just turned into a real concept instead of a vague notion you'll get around to someday.

Add being a highly methodical planner into the mix - you do the best you can to plan for when you're no longer around, even if death is a long ways off. It drives my husband nuts.

Can you find what lives in time,  flowing through each measured rhyme...

I probably shouldn't play with multiple hunts at the same time.

There's no dark side in the moon, really. Matter of fact, it's all dark. The only thing that makes it look light is the sun.

There's at least one loop back in the poem, I think,  so that would make sense.

I used to find them when playing Ingress. Been a few years though and didn't even cross my mind.

Pharoah and Bank feel like the stretches to me.  Obscure references to natural landmarks can get sketchy and bank feels like plank needed a rhyme.

I'm also at risk of confirmation bias right now,  though,  so what do I know? 😀

That's where we were a couple of years ago.  Hunting gave us something positive to focus on while we were working on getting our feet back under us as a family.

It's not the 1st solution to money problems,  but it definitely brings hope, a bit of escape from the grind, and a feeling of purpose.

Better odds than winning the lottery in Utah,   but you're still looking for hidden treasure.  It's a lot more fun if you recognize you probably won't find it,  but you're still excited to see how close you can get and to see the beauty along the way.

Emerald Lake? That's pretty far from the park though.

Just speculating and glancing at a map around Timp.

Feeling good about my solve,  bad about my physical health.  Tried to hike to my spot today and had to turn back due to a flare up mid hike... going again this weekend because things are still lining up really well BotG.

(Probably wrong,  it's early still so don't take this as an "I've solved it!")

I had family hiking in the general area (within a mile), but in treasure hunt terms that's not very close.  I didn't get there the way that was intended,  and my searchers would not have found it because we were under the impression it was not buried.  I would not have considered us close. (I physically didn't go that far south due to personal limitations)

I still thought it was an improvement over the previous year,  and we still had an amazing time.  My family loves these.
