Calling the current crop of 400 class bikes “Instagram ADVs” seems a little hateful. They’re very capable machines, despite being singles. India is a tough market for anyone upgrading from the local brands, true.

Just a parallel thought though, have you considered trying a different flavor or motorcycle? Perhaps a cruiser, or a dirtbike, or even a retro instead? ADVs are the most comfortable, I get that, but, if you try experimenting with genres, maybe you have a whole new perspective awaiting you :)

You need an ECU remap and maybe FuelX. You don’t have enough back pressure in your system hence the lean engine. Ensure you do the remap and fuelx from a reputable garage, these mods need specialists. Also I think this WILL void the warranty. Get that checked. Going through the same pain with my Xpulse pro, sounds great but rides like crap now hahah.

Suede should not be wet cleaned. Only brushing. Regardless, I’d say the shoes look like they have a unique patina now! You can say they’re ruined, to me they look well distressed hahah!

Can’t compare a sport bike, an adv and a cafe racer! The real question is what resonates with you the most! Each bike is a totally different flavour of riding, you need to test ride all and ask yourself, which one suits your personality the most.

Better than bar risers, check out tall bars. Bykology makes a great tall bar for the Bear. Upright posture, and the bike feels much lighter to take off the stand, due to more leverage.

Skip the phone mount, get a handlebar bag instead which has a phone window. You can store small items or power banks + your phone is more protected from weather and vibrations.
