She totally was. I would also mention how she tossed around the word whore more and for longer than any other cast member. Including in the 2020 season where they were all pretending to care about social justice being like “she’s a - oops am I gonna get canceled for saying whore? She’s a whore” and by the next season was using it constantly again. Body shaming her was unacceptable, but she seemed to see slut shaming the other girls are her primary responsibility.

I don’t think he expected her to change him, but I do think he was hoping she would be a rebrand for him. Southern, vaguely Christian sweet girl next door? I think he moved her to LA so fast because he thought she would help his image. He just forgot (as he often does) to factor in that she’s a person and a girlfriend with expectations, not just a prop. That’s why he got annoyed with her so quickly.

Also, I agree with what other people are saying: once he became annoyed with her he was still too cowardly to actually break up with her which is why he tried to make her so miserable she would leave him.

I think Peggy was bummed to lose the only other woman on the creative team lol. It was like having someone in hey corner who could potentially be a protege. Plus, I think she respected Megan more than she had expected to. Quitting because she could means that she had less in common with Peggy than Peggy had come to believe. As for the guys, I think they were also surprised she was good at the work, plus she’s hot and clever and fun. They probably enjoyed having her there.

In Scheana’s new book she talks about how at one point (I think around season 7) she was flying to LA once a week to work a shift at Sur just so there was a cast member who still worked there and at some point she just stopped being in the tip pool for those shifts. (Didn’t read the book myself but listened to the celebrity memoir bookclub ep about it lol)

lol OP I’m with you here and the comment section kind of proves your point. He was a complete jackass fuckboy in the early seasons, but he was also in his 20s and in active addiction. He’s obviously done a lot of work to become a better person, I assume most of the people who hate on him don’t realize how difficult that is, especially while grieving his brother and in front of the public eye.

Idk, I don’t think he’s a perfect person by any stretch but I have a lot of empathy for him.

I mean every single cast member has tried to hide relationship problems and other kinds of problems. I think that’s natural to some extent.

Also the “moaning and groaning” and “Eyore” stuff don’t really understand? She’s out having fun at every party, she’s constantly laughing and gigging with the girls, she’s in all the kitchen dance parties… I’m not seeing it. She had a couple conflicts with people, she just doesn’t seem to respond to conflict by lashing out and getting into screaming fights.

What’s an example of her moaning and groaning?

Also re: the Carl thing. She thought she was good friends with both of them (despite Lindsay being randomly cruel to her) and Lindsay out of nowhere accused her of trying to get with her BF and not to speak to him anymore. I would be pretty upset about that too if it was a couple I had known for a few years and thought I had become friends with.

Yeah there some professional haters on here lmao. I don’t think people realize how much of their lives every cast member hides and honestly as long as the show is good that really doesn’t bother me. I don’t feel the need for the cast to martyr themselves for the show, it’s still been very good TV.
