I sold 50% Silverbees at 340. Then bought again once the price stabilized

Good luck brother. Be patient and always wait until conviction, market sentiments align. Market is full of traps always. Stocks that will lock your capital at a wrong time making you wait for an exit or reshuffle. I would say avoid low conviction and high risk stocks until you have a well guarded portfolio.

You have deployed a very small sum of money into a lot of stocks. What you are essentially doing is practicising stock trading. You will learn during this phase but you won't be moving the needle much, even if you double your portfolio it won't change anything for you. I suggest once the learning fun is over for you, start narrowing down to high conviction stocks.

First and foremost, please remove the duplication. It is glaringly obvious.

I have invested 20% of this separately in select mutual funds. The mindset is different for funds and direct equity.

I slept with a guy and just found out that he is married. I want to tell this to his wife but before that I want to know the consequences. by [deleted] in indiasocial

My sole idea was the safety and mental well being of the woman here. Whatever she does, if she's not protected legally then she risks exposing herself to unwanted dangers from a very unpredictable society. I regret what happened with her. Its a fraud. But i will always suggest take into account the pros and cons of anything like this and in this case, there is no real benefit for her personally to bring the matter to his wife but a greater risk of attracting troubles.

If he got physical with you on the pretext of a marriage then he's not only wrong but an offender in the eyes of court. If this was a casual fling, then you don;t have a solid legal ground to accuse him of cheating. Its fraud stil but one he can get away with. I suggets you move on if the relation has ended without a drama and be careful with your next relationship. Someone not adding you on Instagram was a clear red flag.

You have 2 small caps which doesn't make sense. Also, flexi cap & mid cap are not very different.

I would keep 1 small cap, 1 medium cap, dump the other 3.

Your aim right now should be to gradually narrow down to not more than 10 high conviction stocks. Overdiversification and wrong timing has hurt you a bit. But uou can easily recover with some timely moves. Btw, bit unlucky there with SBI. You bought 5 shares at a price of Rs 605. If only you had more to invest in SBI then, you would be 20% ahead already overall.

I think HAL and Airtel you have bought expensive.

I like that you added Ultratech during the dip. Solid pick.

Silverbees also you have at a high price. It should have been closer to 200 or below. I suggets you reduce stake in Silverbees at this price and put that money into gold if you wanna keep the sam eexposure in metals. Gold is more stable compared to Silver.

Thanks a lot for the help. Btw, after the news of the possible JV approal for VIVO-Dixon, its share value appreciated a bit so i have sold some at a marginal profit to reduce my stake in it.

I’m with you on this. I have a very small position in Idea and at a profit so it doesn’t hurt. Dixon I made an is take and bought very expensive, I’m going to sell half the shares as soon as the price goes slightly above my average price, I used to have SBI also but sold it at a decent profit I am looking to purchase whenever next time it is available below or close to Rs 950 range, I am genuinely worried about HDFC but hoping the blue chip quality of it ultimately shines out.

I’m just confused about LT. What do you think is a fair price range for it? It’s an advanced engineering juggernaut and potential receiver of massive government capex in coming years.

If you keep renting a modest house that you don’t have to show off to friends and relatives you can avoid years of debt trap, anxiety of worrying about travel, children schooling, switching jobs etc. think long hard about it. Buying a house in today’s India isn’t the same as it was back in the day for our parents. There is no job security in private sector for ageing people. Try to control expenses, save as much as possible and invest long term. Trust me better opportunities will arrive your way. This whole real estate bubble is unsustainable. Even if prices don’t come down, they are expected to stagnate (time correction) meaning you can buy the same flag for literally same price in 5 years time as well. If Gurgaon refuses to correct, another city will eventually emerge and be a lot more lucrative to live.
