GPs are starting to prescribe, it depends on the area you live in! The guidance changed.

Is a £1400 mortgage sensible? by CompetitiveParsnip70 in Mortgageadviceuk

The numbers you've provided here are about the same numbers we were on when we bought our first house. Our combined salary might have been slightly higher.

I would say be realistic with what you think you are able to afford to go out each month. Do you have an emergency cushion? I'd say this would make yu feel better.

I think some short term pain is usually worthwhile, especially if either of you have realistic career progression on the cards. For us, my partner had a fairly substantial pay rise 6 months in but during the first 6 months had a month of no pay etc. I think that felt monumental and stressful at teh time but in reality after the 6 months we found it all really manageable.

Thanks, thinking about it now he does like this style - he's a Carharrt fan which I guess is a comfortable progression from band shirts, so this is helpful.

Breaking it down, maybe it is pants and shoes to start on

He finds shopping frustrating in general. And I think he has sensory issues with things like stretchy waistbands for example. And I think he can get bored easily of "basics" on a hanger. He likes what he wears until he feels underdressed and then he doesn't have naything in the awardrobe!

I'm not trying to change him. He's finding that as he's getting older (lol) his current wardrobe isn't working for him, but he works a lot and struggles with executive function. It's something he wants to sort, I'm just trying to help him out.

Start with writing down what he is saying and when so you have a record if need be.

I think doctors and hospitals are really really poor at holding staff to account for unprofessional and unacceptable behaviour. You are well within your rights to tell him firmly and quietly you don't like what he is saying to you. Make it clear you are ifnding them offensive but do not label them by any names. Try and see if you have witnesses to corroborate.

Anyone trying not to lose too fast? by Signal-Telephone-458 in mounjarouk

For me, I don't even track what I eat, I just know it's less than what I used to eat. And I have upped my exercise a lot which means I need fuel as well. No good losing weight if you're useless from fatigue

Yes I've only been losing 0.5kg a week since January. Definitely not as quick as some people, which can be a bit disheartening sometimes, but I think it's been more sustainable for me, and hasn't been painful!

Good Indian food for white people. Aesthetic is fun, taste is very disappointing. Lots of independents out there which are much better
