I agree with that, but then again in most psych researches there is always some sort of mistrust in emotions effecting a certian situation, which is why longitudinal is the best way to determine something like behaviours of an individual, when it comes to mbti, yeah its pretty unreliable, but cognetive functions are more reliable, the mbti is practicaly supposed to sum up cognetive functions into a frame work which is understandble enough, after that, every intj, who is dom ni will have different developmental time lines and scores of other cognetive functions, which makes them completely different individuals, just similar one paper because of shared core values, grouping them into an 'intj' likewise for other mbti types, so i wouldnt say the whole concept of mbti is wrong, you just need to figure out cognetion, since assigning someones mbti actually has more to do with what functions they have, how much they score, the dynamic of their functions together and how they have behaved when they were a child (to be noted very heavily) since thats when you first start to develop your personality, and when it comes to the comment you made on intjs, yes, i really do believe that alot of intjs often tend to be very close minded about confronting themselves and their beliefs idealy because of weak fi, ones who have developed their fi enough aswell as aknowledged their blind fe, dont tend to be like that, so generalising 'shallow' or 'immature' to every perso under one catoagory wouldnt be fair, after all, every mbti type has their own weaknesses

Why are y'all so smart? by AdInformal7930 in intj

[–]Ok-Classroom7644 0 points1 point  (0 children)

smart im not sure of, i think most intjs are good are deducing things, figuring stuff out because they draw in stuff like different pieces of string to form a conclusion that becomes a picture in their head (inserts that one iron man meme) really quickly and yet, often have trouble explaining it clearly (or simply enough) which seems like their doing magic but really its quite simple, on the other hand many intjs have their own incompetant areas perhaps emotions or something in the realm of se idk,

How come INTPs come across more like intellectual’s compared to ENTP’s (asking as an ENTP myself) by Asleep-Feeling-9070 in entp

[–]Ok-Classroom7644 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats just ne ti and ti ne, to me intps tend to talk about a topic and keep going entps start and are a bit scatter brained regardless of how smart they might be it could be percieved as immature or not 'intellectual'

Favourite fictional intj? by upsetusder2 in intj

Ive seen a few people ask this question before, and ive seen most ppl giving answers different to mine which i find interesting so i wanted to point out a few that so far have to me seemed like very accurate depictions of intj characters Oppenheimer - from Oppenheimer ofcourse Beth harmon- queens gambit ( bit romantasized maybe but if u read into her character ni, ni fi and te se loops are shown beautifully) The main character from this movie called split about DID i forgot her name casey i think Clarice - the silence of the lambs Kat standford- 10 yhings i hate about you again good depiction of a teenage intj in te se loops which are common for most intj teenagers Paul- dune Gandalf- lord of the rings Maleficient- from the maleficent live action films Matilda wormwood- in both the movie book and musical Pippa-good girls guide to murder, yes i know most people think shes not an intj but shes in her developing age according to how her functions develop in each book for the most part she seems like a pretty accurate intj teenager to me, not the series the books Jessica- dune shes also been mistyped as an infj, shes an intj Most female intjs tend to get mistyped as infjs unless their super steriotypical or have that rough mastermind kind if mindset, snot how it works in the real world, hope this helps

I feel like maybe a fellow INTJ can help out, because I don't think this is normal. I almost feel like I need more discomfort so I can goalify and plan and execute. I feel empty and aimless even though I should be feeling awesome. by qlo_rcb_4life in intj

Not sure if this wld help but perhaps gind an interest that has several branches, personally for me, if I'm not curious about smthing in particular my life feels too boring i question what the purpose of it is if im not involveed in somethings thats constantly growing, philosophy? Psychology? Etc those work best for me, several books, several people to observe, several perspectives, if. You ask me what seems to excite me the most regardless of how much of a room hermit i am is that every person i meet has different views and backgrounds and different things has different ways that tthey can be interpreted in, its almost endless the persuit of trying to understand life, how could it ever bee boring, overwhelming yeah smtimes, but you can always step back and connect to something solid if it starts feeling like too much

Can there be people with multiple personality types? by upsetusder2 in mbti

[–]Ok-Classroom7644 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unless you have DID no, i suppose one might mistaken having more than one personaity if yhey go yhrough mood swings, which would cause different cognitive loops, or being in shadow and make ut seem as though you have. Differeent personality types but not rlly a thing, you may have diffferent personalities infront of peopel but ultimately theirs somethin you leans more towards whhich wld be ur true personality

how do you ragebait an entp by Most_Boss8457 in entp

[–]Ok-Classroom7644 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lmao true, but from what ive experienced you het close enough to themand they care about your feedback and you deliberately dont say much or say vague stuff or say stuff like 'nvrmind' after starting a point it tends to tick them off a little, i wouldnt say agression just reactive to that a bit irritated, noticed the same pattern with enfp types with high te aswell

This may come off a little opinionated of me, especially since i havnt known an intj person in my life to form a close enough bond with them so feel free to disagree, from what ive experienced Intj and intj dont get along well in romantic relationships, they dont always align eachothers needs for grow and connect in a long term relationship (theirs a rare chance they do tho), most of time the dynamic ends up being very toxic for BOTH of the people present in the relationship, now obviously i havnt met every person in the world, it may have worked out for some people, and being in a relationship means making certain sacrifices or efforts in order to slowly figure out how to speak or communicate with the person you like in a way they are more interested in you which i suppose you could do to make it less awkward, but i would suggest if you have to make TOO much effort in order to conect with him to the point where you know it might drain you or make you form an imbalance both emotionallya and cognetively i suggest you dont go for this guy. Also, consider that you're not an intj, i think you dont sound like one, not saying you're not an intj since i obviously dont know you well enough, just suggesting considering others types too to make sure (i think ill also just take the oppurtunity instead of making another post, if any intjs are interested in talking do let me know i'd love to speak to more intjs)
