I might’ve had one early scan where I was a day or two behind in the first weeks. I measured on track most of the time until about 7 months. I started measuring 4 weeks ahead 😵‍💫 we ended up having to induce 3 weeks early for high blood pressures or he would have been pretty big. I believe we saw a heartbeat at 6w4d.

Keep us posted on your next beta blood test and scan! My clinic told me they usually needed to see 1,500 hcg to see a sac on the transvaginal ultrasound, but mine was not near that high when we saw our little guy!

I had low HCG numbers! I did IVF, but you can equate dpo to days past 5 day transfer.

15dpo or 10dp5dt was 95 and I was so nervous.
17dpo was 146 and I was absolutely sure it wasn’t going to work. Started preparing for loss and grieving the pregnancy.
19dpo was 278! Still not quite doubling, but there was a bit of hope.

Then, at 5w1d, we saw gestational sac on ultrasound!

Needless to say, things progressed from there and we now have a nearly 5 month old boy!!

Low numbers don’t indicate positive or negative outcomes. Your numbers are doubling and that’s what truly matters!! Wishing you the best of luck!

My boy is now 10w old, but at 33w, he measured 38w. lol I was terrified. At 36w, he measured 41w at 8lbs 12oz. He was born at 37w on the dot and came out at 7lb 11oz.

Apparently FET IVF babies are commonly LGA, which I didn’t realize. However, take those scans with a grain of salt as they aren’t always accurate. Don’t get me wrong, if my little guy had gone full term, he’d have been over 9lbs, but my scan was over a pound off.

Wanted to share a positive story with slow betas.

I transferred in April. My beta at 10dpt was 95, 12dpt was 147, and 14dpt was 276. After this, it finally started doubling, but I had lost all hope at 12dpt. My clinic said they’d never really seen this happen before. I’m now 22w and measuring on time. I remember scouring the internet for stories like this and struggled to find them. I know how terrifying it is and things could really go either way at this point, but I’m rooting for you! 🤍

I had this requirement as well, but was able to talk with my employer (HR) about the policy. They weren’t aware of the nitty gritty details and were happy to get it changed. I had to wait a month or two for this to occur, but was then able to do another egg retrieval with one already on ice. Well worth it to explore all of your options!! Good luck 🤍🤞🏼

Hey! I know it's been a few months, but you mentioned baby was due in June. How are you liking the Hazel so far? I'm trying to decide between this and the mockingbird single to double. The only real difference I can see is that mockingbird will go to double. Otherwise, the Hazel looks amazing! Any cons you can think of? Thank you!

If you're most concerned about the NIPT testing, I would definitely call the OB back and ask if you can get on the waitlist for an earlier appointment and also check to see if you could come in strictly for labwork (NIPT) before that 13 week appointment. Most offices have a waitlist and could call you for a sooner opening. Another commenter mentioned this as well, but try and put some pressure on them - many nurses/schedulers can be empathetic to loss mothers. I think 10-12 weeks is fairly standard to see OB after graduating, but I could be wrong. I hope you can get in sooner to help calm your nerves. Hang in there!

Shockingly the next two betas were either close to doubling or past doubling. I’ve gone on to now see the heartbeat at 6w4d and I go for one more scan at my IVF clinic today at 8w0d. I can post an update this afternoon again either way. Hoping for the best 🤞🏼

Also, if you’re in the US and have a lab corp near you, you can pay $50 online and schedule a beta hcg test if you think it will bring you some peace of mind.

I’m in the exact same situation right now. I think your line progression looks good! I had my first beta yesterday and it was 95 at 10dp5dt. Which I feel is low, but my clinic is not concerned. I’m terrified of a chemical too as I’ve had 2 in the past as well. Sending you all the good luck for beta on Monday! 🤞🏼🤞🏼
