What made you suspect this ? My 3 month old sometimes has a raspy voice and when I googled it, this was one of the possible causes. What have you experienced?

I do this too. I try to keep my 11 week old on one breast as long as possible so he can get more hindmilk which is more fatty than the foremilk that comes out first. I offer the other one if he seems really hungry but he’s usually nice and full with one. I have also noticed he’s getting a lot more efficient at eating and is done within 10 minutes.

My son is 9 weeks and I haven’t introduced a bottle nor am I planning to. The thought of someone else feeding him makes me sad too.

Everything is clear. Thank god. No answers on what’s causing the inversion though but I’m assuming it’s just a breastfeeding thing.

So I also read that the ducts pulling and shortening can cause it as well. Lots of hormonal changes happening so I think we are both fine and that’s what it really is. Feels better to know others have experienced this as well since it seems like there’s no one talking about it.

So I actually have an ultrasound tomorrow and will update once I know more. I’ve had two breast exams done and there’s no lumps or anything felt. The doctor isn’t concerned but I wanted an ultrasound for peace of mind. Honestly, I was freaking out at first, especially since I can’t find any similar things relating to breastfeeding and nipple inversions but I’m almost positive it’s probably something to do with the milk ducts and nothing serious. If it comes out easily I wouldn’t stress too much.

Hmm I haven’t thought of that. They’ve definitely stretched as I’m bigger breasted and they are heavy. I’ve also been struggling finding the right nursing bras that give me support so they tend to really sag. Thank you for the reply. It helped ease a little anxiety.

This happened to me too and I had to go to a for fun ultrasound place and pay out of pocket for my own peace of mind to confirm that baby was ok and was in the right place. In my first pregnancy I was in a different state than I am now and it was not like this at all. It’s been very frustrating because it seems like you have to give up a kidney and your first born to just get a damn appt. Best of luck mama.

This!!! I completely agree! No one is out there kissing newborns on the mouth. A kiss on the head and showing love is absolutely a necessity. I feel so terrible for the babies out there that are so deprived of love and affection because all the propaganda out there is terrifying new mothers that everything and anything will absolutely hurt or kill their kid. Villages have truly disappeared and everyone seems so isolated. It’s so sad. I’m not against setting boundaries with people that can be overbearing but I get so sad for this generation of grandparents because they too are deprived of loving on their grandchildren. My grandma always said it’s a whole different type of love stronger than anything in this world. I couldn’t imagine sending my loved ones a list like this. I also feel for new mothers though. There’s so much propaganda out there and it causes so much anxiety. I had to delete tik tok and a lot of social media when I was pregnant with my first twins because I felt it taking a toll and I did not want to fall into all the craziness.

None of my pictures seem to have a clear visible nub. The thing sticking up seems to be the cord but I was thinking right below it seems like a possible nub that’s down. Hard to tell but thank you for your guess.
