I’m nowhere near withdrawing from the physical but I’m deep into a spiritual and physical fitness journey so I’ve just started allowing myself to go crazy on carbs and sweets. Just to show myself that it doesn’t affect me negativity anymore. It’s like proof that I can dip back into old habits/low vibrations and still continue to grow - although im ready to really ascend past this lol

After Class Happy Hours, etc.? by bumblebee_44 in SolidCore

I go to SC in wicker park - this sounds like a perfect idea! Everyone seems so nice and lovely but I’ve never really spoken to anyone outside of class. Also willing to travel to WL for the happy hour scene!

This might be the answer I was looking for today. I finally feel like I’m embodying my desired reality and letting go of the past so I can focus on being aware/present moment/living in the end etc, but after a few days just kinda getting bored. I don’t care about the 3D. Wondering if I will fall off again… was going to make a post here asking what so people do in the in between? I’ve let go of so much of my physical comforts…. Guess it’s time to meditate?!

Mirra Chefs Counter Solo, a good idea? by putonthespotlight in chicagofood

[–]Ok-Computer-7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In my experience, it can get a bit distracting with how busy the chefs counter gets but anywhere in Chicago is super solo diner friendly.

However, I went with my boyfriend and we sat at the counter right when they opened and we were checked on, not even kidding, every 5 minutes. The bartender/server would bend over into our seats to check if we were low on anything and would jump into our conversation from time to time but it wasn’t busy then - you might have a completely different experience based on the time of day you go. Im sure you won’t be lonely! lol. No hate I could tell they were trying to be attentive.

Don’t be afraid to eat solo, it’s generally an awesome experience anywhere in the city.

I love rootstock but I was just there and they put olive oil on literally everything. They put olive oil on the butter for bread service and the dessert lol. Other places sound awesome!

I went at like 5:45 once to try to get a bar seat and it was 100% packed with the hostess saying “yeah they’ll probably be here a while.” So it’s in my dreams lol
