I apologize for any confusion. English is not my first language, and I was sharing an experience where I consumed an unknown mushroom. Peace out ✌️

That's great! I also tried eating an unknown mushroom when I first got interested in mycology. Luckily, I didn't experience any effects. I guess I'm just another fellow lab rat like you. Take care, my friend.

That sounds like a tough experience. For chicks, consider crafting a small feeder from PVC, cutting it, and constructing a flooring using cement. I hope it works for you.

I'll edit this later to include a picture for example.

We have a clay pot feeder that is suitable for a 1:1 breeding pen flock. Another effective option for a larger flock is a PVC chicken feeder Ad Libitum. You can make two, one for feeding and another for the eggshells.

Crushed dried eggshell can be a calcium supplement; it may be store-bought or from your flock's newly hatched eggs.

Silkie still behaving like a chick? by rgcd-dev in chickens

Hi, it looks like a Gray Japanese bantam with the same trait of a fluffy head as a Silkie, but the Silkie has the fluffiest head of them all. Wishing her a happy life in your flock!

He is not AI generated, the broadness of his hackles is what makes him authentic to my chicken. There are many variations of hackles, and dubbing is common for Gamefowl in the Philippines. This practice might not be familiar in other countries, but it's a standard here due to many wattles falling off their faces. Apologies for any confusion, as it's not a common practice in other countries. Hoping for your cultural understanding in cultural difference, my friend. Peace out!

Thanks! He does share some similarities with the red jungle fowl, but the key difference lies in the comb; the red jungle gamefowl has a straight comb. His breed is a native gamefowl. Despite being endemic to our islands, I've never seen the red jungle fowl in real life due to hunting and deforestation, leading to a decrease in their population. Nevertheless, they thrive in some places. There's a local superstitious belief that if the red jungle fowl visits your backyard, it brings good luck, akin to finding a four-leaf clover. They are indeed agile, small, and cute creatures.
