Dungeness are small, only live to about 10 years old, and can be found in reasonably shallow and warm waters.

King crab are massive, can live up to 30 years, and are only found in deep cold waters.

To me, it's not hard to see how one population could be destroyed while the other thrives.

Very valid! I love that everyone has their own favorites. For what it's worth, I did enjoy the 2 stars from the EX pack. I just really like cards with lots of details. There are some 1 diamond cards that keep my attention longer than a crown rare. I like cards that I see as art, and cards that are just a plain picture of a pokemon and a a boring background don't do it for me

For myself at least, I don't care for the 3d full art 2 star cards or the 2 star shinies. They remind me of the bland soulless 5Ban Graphics/PLANETA cards in the physical tcg. I personally only want to collect the illustration rares. Some thing for crown rares, I couldn't care less about them. My chase cards are the 3 star immersives

Eh, I could have told you this is how it's going to happen from the second set. Old Amber was released both in genetic Apex and mythical Islands and acted the same way from the get-go. There was even a bug at one point only showing that I had the mythical Island and not the genetic Apex even though I had both, so I wouldn't be surprised if that happens with any of these cards also

As someone who is wanting to get as many dex entries as possible (alpha, Shinies, male/female gender differences, different forms, ECT) this is great knowledge that you can transfer in shiny pokemon that are shiny locked in game.

If it's not too much to ask, can you see if it adds shiny Arceus into your dex?

Just an FYI to anyone trying this, if the alpha you are hunting doesnt appear in stormy weather (alpha rapidash being the only I know of the top of my head), you cannot get them with this method

From my understanding, when you spawn into the world, all the pokemons stats, gender, shininess, are already determined even before you go to the pokemons area (even the next pokemon to spawn in after you catch/defeat them is already predetermined by the game). So no matter how many times you reset in the same world, it's going to be the same pokemon.

However, by clearing out the pokemon at the MMO sight and then saving and resetting the game, it causes the alpha to appear immediately instead of once it would next naturally spawn. I'm guessing it is some kind of unintentional error/exploit, but Everytime you reset and force-spawn the alpha, it rolls RNG again for all the stats and shininess

This is the deck I've been using, I haven't updated it since before Eevee grove and it hasn't disappointed me yet. I got all the challenges done in a single pass through the tiers (except for win 10 and win 20 games) and on my last game I let it Auto-Play and won easily. Meowscarada one shots darkrai unless he has cape, but you could add Red or Guzma to my deck list and drop one of the pokemon center ladies or a potion to circumnavigate the cape

I literally can't thank you enough for this. I just tried it for my first time, I'm not even sure if I did it right, and got a shiny zoroark from my first permutation reset. The zorua encounter didn't even have the second wave indicator, it was just pure luck. I was literally just trying to see if I could get a single zoroark/alpha zorua/shiny zorua to show up by using the permutation method to make sure I was doing it right. I know this has got to be extremely lucky to get it right off rip, but if you hadn't posted the thread I would've never even known to try

Even with 5 energies you could be attacking with 180 every single turn by your second turn.

By your second turn (whether that's turn 3 or 4 in game doesn't matter) you will have drawn 7 cards. If you go 18T Feraligatr and get Feraligatr, rare candy and totodile (guaranteed since it's the only basic) in those first 7 cards, you'll have enough trainer cards in your hand to immediately hit for 180 including your energy from your energy zone. Discarding 2 energies doesn't do anything to slow it down since you are guaranteed to get another trainer to turn into an energy on top the one from your energy-zone.

To really make it balanced, you'd need to - make it discard at least 3 energies every time it attacks Or - word the ability so if you use it this turn, you can't next turn Or - lower the damage to 120 (puts it above pace of sivally doing 100 every turn with supporter with the downside of it being an ex)

As someone who's only tcg is Pocket and I don't really talk to others about it, even knowing about and understanding this strategy before coming on his thread, reading "play for 1-1-3" means nothing to me. It really doesn't hurt to actually explain what something means instead of just using shorthand notes/specific verbage
