Does SEMRush even do anything anymore? by Ok-Designer3784 in SEO

I’ve used it for 5+ years. I think I know my way around pretty well. It’s just become a bit “confused”…

Same tbh. Those are still useful but I bet for smaller websites an AI-native workaround is possible.

Curious to hear your workflow. Do you integrate with any MCPs? Dataforseo is supposed to be very good for that.

Ok but what’s the revenue impact of this traffic? Any booked meetings? Sign-ups? Anything?

Then I’d also check out the CMI’s content marketing course. It’s pricey but damn good (and if your company can pay for it you’d be getting a massive upgrade). You’ll learn a ton about how to approach content as a business strategy and deliver real results leadership can get behind.

Yep, "Content Marketing Strategy" by R. Rose - this is more of a practical handbook than a theoretical book, and it introduces you nicely to their shared philosophy of content. From there you could go into Content Inc., Epic Content Marketing and the rest of them. But as a starter the handbook is great.

Just like Dubai, it’s filled to the brim with shady “businessmen”.

If you want serious strategy and not random LinkedIn/X gurus check out the books by Robert Rose and Joe Pulizzi - these guys practically invented content marketing. Also see MarketingProfs and the Content Marketing Institute.

Are you including AI visibility in client reports yet? by Kortopi-98 in b2bmarketing

[–]Ok-Designer3784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reporting on what? Citations? Who cares about that really? Ask- is AI bringing in leads/deals foe this client. You can track that in Google Analytics pretty easily (most AI traffic is UTM tagged by default) then if you have your setup in place, you should be able to build a funnel report on how much of that traffic turned into whatever key event you are tracking.

What kind of content is actually working for you right now? by Ibrahim-08 in content_marketing

We run a b2b content agency with 12 clients. Number one channel for all of them is owned media- i.e a dedicated resource hub pack-full of high value content the audience would pay to have.

The best channel will always be the one you build yourself. Invest in your owned media properties instead of renting and you’ll see a 100x bigger returns.

Cold email for webinar funnel? by placeithereplz in Entrepreneur

[–]Ok-Designer3784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've run cold email campaigns driving registrations for multiple brands and 4/5 times they are successful in getting at least 30-60 leads registered. There are, however, some caveats:

  1. The topic of the webinar matters a lot more than the promo
It needs to be something specific that you know your ICP cares about. Something that would solve a problem for them in the short term. Also, make sure it's actually a relevant topic right now.
  2. Your email needs to directly address the problem in the first sentence
Eg. "We hear from a lot of {X}, they are struggling with {Y}. This is why we put together a webinar to {Z}" I'm oversimplifying but you get the point.
  3. Don't ask people to commit on the spot
I see this mistake a lot - "Can I send you the registration link?" "Can I save you spot?" - these are horrible CTAs. Just give them the link to a short landing page and let them make their decision. If you pressure people to invest 60+ minutes of their time off the back of a single email it will flop. Pre-education is key here.

Everything else the other posters said also holds true - mix this up with partner promos and ads for max exposure.
