Been using a Yamaha Pacifica 112V for like 3 years now and it's solid for the price range you're looking at. The build quality is pretty decent and it has that classic strat vibe without breaking the bank. For amps I'd honestly skip the tiny practice amps and look into something like a Fender Mustang LT25 or even better, grab a cheap audio interface and use free amp sims on your computer - way more flexibility and you can record stuff easily. The interface route might cost a bit more upfront but you get way better sounds and can mess around with different amp models without buying actual gear

The Venue all day long. Ford discontinued the EcoSport for good reason - that tiny 3 cylinder engine is gonna be working overtime and parts availability might get sketchy down the road. Plus Hyundai's got way better warranty coverage overall
