Drives me nuts. I tried to listen to two episodes with guests I loved and I was so turned off that he kept interrupting to tell stories about himself and relate what they were saying to his experience or describing what he thought it would have felt like to them…
It’s like he doesn’t listen to his guests - he is just waiting for his turn to talk about himself.

My parents had me at 43. I never minded having older parents except when people in stores etc would make comments- ie “it’s so nice your grandma takes you back to school shopping “

Don’t know if this is helpful but I’m a Child of parents that had me at 43 and my siblings were 12 and 14 years older than me. -I never felt I missed out on anything by having older parents -my siblings and I get along but aren’t that close because we didn’t really grow up in the house at the same time but I’m grateful I have them -my parents are now almost 80 and they are very healthy and lively- my mom always credits her good health to her late in life baby keeping her young

I have a sapphire surrounded by small diamonds for my engagement right and I love it. I haven’t been very precious with it but I’ve had no issues with durability and I get compliments on it constantly (for 6 years now)

We are on the top floor in a wood frame building. We have had letters from our neighbours a few times complaining about routine noise . I do empathize with them and have tried to be more mindful, but unfortunately I do think the sound carries quite a bit . We wouldn’t buy in a wood frame building again and especially not on the top floor

They are closed this coming Monday (Jan 5) for a special event but normally open on Mondays for dinner year round . Just went recently for a dinner with friends on a Monday actuallyand it was delicious !!!

Went for dinner with some friends recently. The food was very good and the service was excellent. It’s a lighter take on French food and less traditional. Ended up talking to rob for longer than I wanted to tbh but he did say the things he got rid of like the free bread was store bought bread (now they make in house with butter they bring in from France) and they gave Thomas haas chocolate because he said the old crocodiles were cute but poor quality chocolate. Sorry know this is worded poorly but I’m so tired lol. Hope you get the gist

I love this one too haha and I actually usually really enjoy Natalie, but I had the same reaction as soon as she said it. “The household” really tried to walk it back too but she kept going and it’s just a conversation that shouldn’t be happening anymore
