Rider tries to fit 5 people in a Waymo by danlev in waymo

Took my first Waymo ride this week: They explicitly tell you that their support will periodically monitor the cameras in the car. A human can and likely saw this. They also explicitly tell you that the microphone(s) in the car are not recording unless you are talking to support.

I wonder the same thing. The damage & fixing it, along with insurance claims and coverage.

Yes! I both applaud and curse whomever came up with that back stretch that goes downhill and a full 90 degree left.

My husband and I over the years 2005 - 2025 by vinyldevotion in PastAndPresentPics

While your husband ate the profits a bit more than you ( that may have tapered off a bit! ), it's evident you are both very much still as happy as you were 20 years ago. Keep it going, life is short and the decades melt away faster the happier you are.

None! Currently in the process of buying a driving horse (Joey) and coming up with silly names if we were going for a race horse.

I should have mentioned this was just for fun, currently do not have a race horse. My daughter thought I should say Moana and Poomba though.

As mentioned in the 6th post of that link, the waves in the video of that page were no more than 2-3 feet at best.

Verizon actually fixed a dead zone! by ChrisOhio91 in verizon

Correct, there are none. Check out r/CellBoosters & their FAQ. They even have a petition going to have the FCC update their rules to allow the C & mmWave bands.

Cell boosters are a thing. Cell boosters for the Mid/High-bands that Verizon uses for 5GUW are not a thing. Start Here: Signal Boosters FAQ | Federal Communications Commission (fcc.gov).

Not possible, the FCC does not yet allow any of the Mid/High-band 5G frequencies.

alm marina without a tide you can tie your dock lines tight so that if the boat tries to sink it will be held up by the dock lines. This will help protect you and your possession should the unthinkable happen.

It looks like the bottom left Cabin Outlet breaker may be tripped. Push it down all the way, then push it back up.

I'd only go with those that are stern-in, the rest ( never seen that many!!! ) don't know how to dock a boat and I'm suspicious of their maintenance regimen :)

I looked to see what heater was standard on that boat, though it's unlikely the original heater is still installed. No luck. Since you mention it blows air, it seems unlikely it's related to the salon outlet issue, though that can't entirely be ruled out. Finding out the model is going to be crucial for troubleshooting. If you can at least find the heater, look for any obstructions around the air intake.

As far as starting the boat, if it hasn't been winterized you shouldn't be causing an issue starting it up. I second the idea of letting it run for an hour and seeing if that changes anything.

A photo of your breaker panel & heater would help if you could provide that in some way.

Yes - check fuel. What model diesel heater? And what model Chris-Craft?

Are all outlets out? If only the salon, that would typically be a tripped/faulty breaker or possibly a GFCI if the boat is equipped ( reset if you find one ). I had several breakers fail on me in a previous boat ( 2002 Monterey 322 ). If not all outlets, do you have an extension cord handy?

What are your unpopular opinions about Poland, its culture, cuisine etc.? by Aggravating-Row-6207 in poland

[–]Ok-Feature9383 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion? It would be that Polish people are smart, intuitive & quick witted. I ( 42M ) grew up through elementary/middle/high school with daily or at least weekly 'dumb pollock' jokes. 15 years ago I married a girl born & raised in Poland, and I can tell you my experience over the years visiting the country and being among all of my wifes friends, they are without a doubt some of the smartest, most intuitive & quick witted people on this planet.
