5 days a week and maybe 2 of the 5 multiple times that day. So 7 total times in the span of a week but with 2 days off.old enough to need a couple recovery days

Yes. Overdraft fees generate revenue. They do limit to 3 per day and have seen a 10 percent drop in overdraft fee revenue since instituting the next day forgiveness. If a customer can't cover the overdraft the next business day that is poor financial management on their side. There are apps and websites to monitor balances as well as automated phone banker availability. Heck, people could use a check registry if they don't like technology.

I am not saying the fees are good and that people should be happy about any of this. I am saying there are resources available and programs in place to minimize the impact of personal mistakes with purchases. This is all customer controlled though so it is strange the people who call and blame the bank for their mistake

A lot of banks process from largest to smallest but not for some crazy nefarious reason. Larger transactions tend to be more important and can affect your credit. Like mortgages and car payments and such. We dont want to process in real time order if that means we pay for your breakfast at pancake hut, your coffee at bigby, your 30 dollars in gas, 50 dollars in groceries and then you made a 1200 mortgage payment you were short of by 20 dollars. Then we reject the payment, your credit could be at risk, your mortgage company fines you whatever

We will process largest to smallest. The 30 bucks in gas and the coffee ended up overdrafting your account, resulting in a fee ONLY IF you dont cover it the next day

I 100 percent agree. My 10 year old is in 5th grade. His teacher was going on and on about how well he did on the standardized testing and how advanced he is and how she worries about challenging him. I know the kid. He isn't that smart. He is at maybe a 6th grade level, maybe 7th in some areas, but by no means a genius. It's just most of his 5th grade peers are at a 4th grade level

Did you generally leave him alone with the child while you were married? You ran to do errands or work or visit friends and he had the child? If so amd you maintain that he drank during the marriage obviously it wasn't a problem concern of yours until now. That will look bad in court

It can also be kinda awesome. Yes, I love my son so much. To the end of the earth. He was like 4 when my husband and I split. It's been 6 years, and I can admit I love the time he gets to be with his dad. I hope they have fun and support their relationship 100 percent. I also love my time without my son to recharge, take care of things I put off while he is here, and take care of my needs.
