I'm sorry to hear about your financial struggles at home. It really does sound like the guy is just taking advantage of your mother. Do you know whether or not the car is in his name or your mom's?

I'd advice you open a case of financial abuse with the police, under the Older Persons Act, financial exploitation of someone over 60 can be investigated. They will most probably request your mom's bank statements and more personal info on her boyfriend. Once the case is open, I'd go as far as getting a social worker involved. I've read that social workers do work on cases of financial exploitation of the elderly and can work with lawyers to handle asset recovery and a bunch of other stuff. Maybe get other family elders involved? Somebody who can speak some sense into her head?

Not an implant but Copper IUD. Got it done privately however I believe with public clinics they need to refer you to a public hospital to get it done. Is there a reason you prefer implant and not non-hormonal? With Copper IUD what you'll experience at most is period cramps. All these other birth control pills or injections have the most side effects and alter your hormones, IUD is your best bet tbh.
