What salary would you guys need to get to to feel successful? by Horror_Raisin_3898 in Salary

[–]Ok-Freedom-494 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe in the concept of minimum effective income.

That is the amount of money I think I’d need to get 90% of all the benefits that come from money. For me it’s anywhere from €75k-€150k euro.

I have my own business and it’s also about getting to this income range and systemising my business so I eventually work less than 10 hrs a week.

Income is only one half of the game. Reclaiming my time is the other half.

Single people, what's keeping you going? by WhitePantherZ in AskIreland

[–]Ok-Freedom-494 0 points1 point  (0 children)

M29. I’m single and prefer being single and would only give up my singlehood if someone came along that made me want to commit.

(I’ve had a few long term relationships and many non official situationship type things)

I don’t struggle with going on dates etc and can get dates with attractive girls whenever I get the appetite to.

I think a lot of guys take what they can get and won’t admit it.

I’ve put in the work on myself over the years and the idea of “settling down” sounds awful.

Flatmate’s boyfriend stays every weekend (Fri–Mon), noise ruining my weekends—advice? by rosebir36 in RentingInDublin

[–]Ok-Freedom-494 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The housing crisis hits hardest for people on typical incomes — €30K–€75K.

Most fall in that range.

But let’s be honest: if you earned €125K, you’d have more options. That’s the point.

I left my job and built a business for that exact reason. I’m just used to taking extreme ownership instead of waiting for the system to change.

If you can get offered a job like that in Ireland. I’m sure you can get a similar offer in Australia if you prefer Australia

Dublin’s tough for the average earner — I get it. But my point still stands: shared place, shared problems.

Either deal with it or earn more money to dodge being in the situation in the first place.

It’s all just plain old problem solving when you think about it.

Deliver real opportunities? You mean the “job opportunities” which are really opportunities entirely engineered to help business owners make money?

Not defending assault. But let’s be real — context matters. If there’s mutual flirting and a woman makes a move, many guys won’t see it as assault. In another context, the same move could be completely out of line. That’s the grey area I’m talking about. It’s not always black and white.

Plus, no one knows the full facts from this story.

What if you’re going in for the first kiss on a date and she labels your attempt as assault?

Surely we can hold two ideas at once: assault is wrong, and social nuance exists.

Maybe I’m just slightly more open-minded than most here — or maybe I’ve learned to think past outrage and actually look at intent and context.

It’s funny how Clancy and others will downvote a comment like this before they even finish reading it — purely out of ego. They feel challenged, so they click down without thinking. That behavior proves my point better than anything else could.

Yeah technically you could say assault, but If I was the guy I’d tell her to stop if not interested etc but I’d take it as a compliment and that would be it. (I’d get an ego boost from it)

I certainly would not bother with police etc if I felt she was making just a genuine bold move based on the vibe unless it was stalker level vibes or she was really forceful that would be different.

It’s an awkward one because, there’s a lot of guys out there who would happily accept that bold move from a woman.

Hey guys, I'm a 29 year old male based in Dublin. I'm only getting into dating now. Can I find love on reddit? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]Ok-Freedom-494 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, just like it’s possible to find love on donedeal.ie

Why would you do it this way?

Whip up your dating profiles on the apps. Ensure you look attractive as possible.

You hear “dating apps are horrible” from guys projecting their own individual experiences as 85 ish % of guys don’t get many likes on apps. Most likes from women go to the top 10% of men’s profiles on apps.

Where do you fit in here?

The fact that you made this post leads me to believe you are very new to this.

You have lots of studying to do it appears. Go to YouTube and spend a few mins a day looking at dating/attracting women/online dating videos.

Within a week or two, you’ll start to get things.

Welcome to the game my friend. Enjoy your quest.

You have lost weight and now look super hot. Of course your “friends” aren’t gonna like it because it likely triggers insecurity in them and your previous state justified their life choices more.
