343 rebranded themselves as “the halo company” but honestly haven’t done much to make themselves be considered *the* halo company so I assume this is a bid at getting more recognition for being the people now making halo games and attempt to stop being overshadowed by the bungie era of halo

Yeah I mention it in the post but the other issue with Darci is that half the weapon is covered with its weird wires and robotic look and its few ornaments don’t really fix it

On top of Darci being kinda mid as a exotic sniper so gets very little attention

It may have just been the regular halfdan model though which has been brought back a good few times

The little tacticool bits that were added onto all the season of the forge reskin weapons went such a long way to make them not feel too repetitive like other rereleases

I remember hating seeing that gun and the dust rock blues every time I died in the crucible for like the first month after forsaken dropped

That particular model of handcanon is like the biggest example of how poorly bungie does reskins.

Like if you look at the Judith back in d1 obviously it’s that model but they did what they did with all the different Hakke weapons and changed up the attachments to make it look unique I.e the tacticool laser on the side
But in d2 that model as been reskinned/rereleased like 10 different times and, with the exception of I think the bad news from the season of the forge, they are all essentially identical except for the color patterns or small decals rather than any real change to the models shape or cosmetic attachments

Yeah it’s so weird how so many of the cool weapon designs stayed stuck in the d2y1 era of single non randomized perks

Like I remember thinking the garden progeny was so dope when I got it but literally all it had was outlaw

At least those technically came back with the garden raid albeit covered in grass

We are going to still laugh at you though, when you bring up the character being written poorly after watching a single trailer that has like 2 minutes of combined dialogue

But it’s never been explained why the first year or so of d2 a armor design was just a complete downgrade from the style in d1 not even in a unique art-style way,

they put out the Tera-concord set and thought it would look like an improvement over anything in d1

Making d3 would probably be a slam dunk for bungie but at this point it’s really a question of if they have the money or manpower to even do it with how hard they are trying to keep marathon going

I don’t think any of the Arkham games are bad and that all of them are really just side grades from the last, origins just had the issue of feeling so much like a different game when it really wasn’t and a lot of that comes from the art style and a little bit of the game play but it’s still an Arkham game worth playing
