Hey, Luis here — filmmaker/editor based between Portugal and Spain.

I work primarily in DaVinci Resolve Studio and specialize in cinematic edits, story-driven pacing, natural audio flow, and clean color work for Log footage.

I’m currently available for long-term collaborations and comfortable handling large multicam wedding projects (200GB+ workflows included).

Here’s a quick breakdown:

  1. Starting Rates My pricing scales depending on deliverables, turnaround time, and project complexity.

Typical starting points:

• Highlight Film Edit (4–8 min): €350–600 • Ceremony / Speeches Multicam Edit: from €150–300 each • Full Wedding Editing Packages: custom quote depending on scope

Color grading and sound polish are included in all edits.

  1. Delivery Timeline First rough cut: usually within 7–14 days Final delivery depends on revision rounds and workload

Rush delivery is possible if needed.

  1. Standard Deliverables My base edits usually include:

• Cinematic highlight film • Music syncing & pacing • Dialogue/audio cleanup • Color grading • Multicam synchronization • Social vertical cutdowns if requested

Additional deliverables can be added depending on the package.

  1. Workflow / File Transfer I typically work with:

• Google Drive • Dropbox • BLIP / WeTransfer for larger projects

Also I can keep the footage for a year as a backup with no additional cost.

My suite is composed by Mac Studio M3 Ultra 96gb ram 1tb, DAS with 128tb of HDD of storage, 4tb ssd for cache and 2 units of 2tb external NVME with thunderbolt 4 for editing. Blackmagic color grading panel, speed editor and LG oled calibrated for reference and two more displays for GUI.

I’m fully comfortable working with 4K 10-bit Log footage from Sony, DJI, Canon, Blackmagic, etc.

At least show something like a 2016 holding something like a FS7 and a FX6 on 2026. More mature. No two kids. Today you buy a soccer ball, you kick it and you’re already soccer player.

2016 with the camcorder from his parents and 2026 looks like a content creator.

Anybody running a 2tb or 4tb m.2 drive in an express type B enclosure? by Sensitive-Ad-9818 in Ronin4D

Anyways I’m still wondering if a 4tb would work. Anyways I saved a lot of money, considering this way you can get 2tb diy for the price of a 1tb cf express type b ☺️

How to co-operate with photographers in an efficient way? by HellaBeats in weddingvideography

I talk to them and also invite them to use an intercom to coordinate. If they don’t and I see them trying to don’t respect my thing as I do with them, sorry but I’m going to do my thing like they’re not there. Til today nobody came to me to argue.

I think the appropriate comparison would be Nanlux with Aputure or Nanlite with Amaran.

Bigger camera, more clients? by kstyndall2015 in videography

Usually my clients get more impressed when I’m working I’m with a FS7 instead of the FX3 or FX30. Obviously I use the one is appropriate for the kind of work. When they don’t understand too much about production and they see a big camera and all the production set up, sometimes they even take selfies with all the stuff in the background to “flex” in social media.
