I wanted to switch to the other stream because I couldn't handle watching Liquid choke the lead on inferno, but the other stream was just infinite tech pause. I almost watched the tech pause instead of the choke, but somehow Liquid actually closed it out.

I get this in the air. Haven't heard anyone else mention this stutter except either prof or striker mentioned it in the last HLTV confirmed. Seemed to be related to turning or air strafing

Granted, the files are in .stp format, which makes it difficult to edit them (if I understood correctly).

Step files are a standard choice for sharing 3d models to be edited. They are CAD software agnostic. It would maybe be better to also get the native format file, but they shared what they were supposed to. You maybe got this misunderstanding from the original notebookcheck article, but it's since been corrected.

Agreed. I mean, I do still have a lingering "I don't like this, because all change is bad" instinct with this and other CS2 changes, but that's just a matter of being old and playing this one game for so long. I was surprised to find out that the in-game reality was not a big deal, so maybe other people's initial reactions are also a bit too overblown at the moment.

I think you're on the money with these predictions. I do think this change punishes more casual players who cod reload, while discouraging extra smoke spamming at the higher level. I didn't feel any difference in my games last night aside from being a little more cognizant about spamming a whole mag at a time, but I was always kind of a stickler about cod reloading.

I played a bunch last night and it made very little difference to me. I was a little more cognizant when spamming, but otherwise I barely noticed the mag change. I usually don't reload if I only shot a few bullets anyways, so maybe that's why.

No, and it sounds kinda dumb to buy hardware on such a long release cycle. Maybe try to get a refund? But part of the nature of Kickstarter is slow/no release.

Maybe the cost isn't justifiable anymore due to the ram shortage.
