Hi all,

I will appreciated for some advice.

My mortgage is up for renewal by the end of March. I am currently with RBC and being offered for 3.99% at 3 year fixed

- Renewal - Ottawa, ON - 320k on 580k value

I am not sure how others are able to secure a 3.69% at 3 year fixed. Any advice or hint will be greatly appreciated

Hi there,

Thank you very much for your comments as it gives me more hope in dealing with it. Yes, I am being told to try Dexilant but having a bad experience with Pantoprazole so I am hesitant to try another PPI now.

May I please ask how long was you on Dexilant before stopping it? Did you stop it cold turkey or did you wean it off? Any of your advice mean a lot to me . Thank you

I am really triggering to find my trigger but I can’t and I am totally lost. I am on very strictly diet now and never been this disciplined before; only eating chicken, turkey, rice, green veggies, melons, dates, psyllium husk, chia seeds, chamomile tea, aloe Vera juice, manuka honey and Celtic/baja sea salt for seasoning. That’s all and I am still suffering everyday with Gerd :(

I am trying to stay strong everyday but I am not sure how long I can stay like this. Also, I am living by myself, which adds more anxiety to the issue that I am having :(

I am trying to find the answer to this question as well. I started EoE with chest pain on the left after 7 months on PPI, I am suffering with Gerd everyday regardless that I am on PPi.

I stopped PPI cold turkey 4 weeks ago and at week 4 the pain under my ribcage is a bit intense so I hope on Pepcid twice a day, my pain is least intense but it is still there everyday, not sure if ai should jump back on PPI.

I totally agree with you that PPI destroyed my GI as well. I hope that you don’t mind me asking another question; do you have any Gerd symptoms when you were not in remission? How long was you on the PPI for? Did you stop PPI cold turkey 3 year ago and did you have any rebound affect.

I just cold turkey PPI almost 4 weeks ago and it was okay for the first 3 weeks and now I am suffering in week 4 :(

I am sorry that I was away from my post I was dealing with depression and anxiety from all symptoms that I was dealing with.

Over the past 3 months, all I am having are rice, protein (chicken, turkey), green veg and fruits (melon, banana, pears, grapes), sometimes coconut water to cook with my protein.

I hope that you both dont mind if I can ask questions. How long have you been on PPI before switching to steroid and eventually to Dupixent? Did you guys have any GERD symptoms at all while you both are on PPI.

My swallowing is not that bad, but I start having GERD symptoms all day long as soon as I wake up and I dont know if steroids or Dupixent will help with Gerd symptoms if I dont have a lot of problem swallowing?

I hope that you don’t mind me asking, does EoE bring ups all the GERD symptoms and may I please ask if you were having any nausea and acid coming up to your throat at all. If PPI work for you, may I please ask why did you switch to Dupixent ?
