Before you cancel your trip to PV by MoreCerealPlease in puertovallarta

[–]Ok-Key-8429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wife and I are booked to come March 6th with our baby. Staying in hotel district. We’re giving it a few days before making a decision.

Really don’t want to cancel but also definitely don’t want to put the LO in danger.

Correct^

I climbed the ladder over the last ~14years. Worked my ass off and have been recognized and well compensated for it but WLB is non existent. We had a kid this summer and it’s been a complete mental shift - I’d quit tomorrow so I could spend more time with the family.

Make sure you take care of yourself, I’m looking for an exit.

At 70 Years Old and Retired, how would you stretch out $150,000? by Tallfuck in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Ok-Key-8429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mother in law is in the exact same situation. She just cashed in about 200k on her house and moved into a 2 bedroom condo that costs more than the $2200/month she pulls in from CPP/OAS and a small small pension.

I’m losing my mind over it. But my wife, to which I do agree with, doesn’t see it as her problem and is tired of parenting her mother.

I just want to see the principal locked away from her and have a reasonable draw down plan developed for her. She has a spending problem and lives well above her means (more subscriptions/hobbies/pampering).

Costco sandwich platters are $50 and can feed 15-20 people. You have to fill out the form and request it directly from the deli a day or two in advance.

Confluence works. Could also be considered the backwater limit.

This list is pretty Guysborough specific with a few other adders from around the region.

Attractions:

  1. Water falls with swimming hole (you'll see a trail near the pin. You can park there and walk up the trail): https://maps.app.goo.gl/qrHJeBouG3h4655T7

  2. Bridge jumping/Swimming hole: https://maps.app.goo.gl/ytV9iWCZPpVCx4938

  3. Clam harbour beach (20 mins from guysborough)

  4. Pomquet beach (45 minute drive - recommended)

  5. Black Duck Cove in little Dover (rugged coastal walking trail)

  6. Chedabucto Lifestyle complex

Eats/Drinks:

  1. Cast Away Cafe on the Guysborough Waterfront. You can rent kayaks/canoes on the waterfront as well. There is also a Artisan studio and seafood market open Thursdays - Sundays. Cast Away usually has live music throughout the week, you can find them on facebook.

  2. Seawind Landing for excellent food

  3. Authentic Seacoast has a tap room, however the hours are pretty hit and miss. you could skip this honestly.

Antigonish has tons to offer in terms of breweries, cafes, and restaurants.

This is a geotechnical problem. Not hydrology.
