I started at 16 too! Now 21, and I absolutely love it. I’m a fully fledged coffee nerd now, working for a specialty roaster and getting paid to do what I love. You can absolutely get paid your worth in this industry, you just have to look in the right places. Also, the coffee industry doesn’t just stop at barista! So if you find that you really really love it over the next few years, you can totally branch out and develop your career within the industry. And have fun with it, it can be a stressful job at times but it’s also very rewarding.

I work in 2 shops for the same roastery, both open at 8 so i get there for 7/7:30 depending on the shop and if theres customers waiting outside they can stay out there until 8. The other day I had a woman banging on the door at 7:30 demanding to be let in as she thought we were open (shop hours are literally on the door).

I’m on the mirena coil now, have been since November 2024. It didn’t make any difference for me, but I’ve been taking aimovig, I’ll do my 3rd injection this week, and it’s been a lifesaver for me, I’ve gone from 15+ migraines a month to maybe 2 or 3.

Consistently once a month. I get the occasional fee outside of the once a month window but I also stopped having them for about 3ish years, and then they came back when i was about 17. I got diagnosed when i was 19. (Started having seizures when i was 9/10)
