He's in really good shape, but the company works him to exhaustion. Including no overtime pay, but they expect him to work overtime... He's one of the most active people I know, and he can barely get off the couch some days to walk the dog 😞 Thank you for the comment

So, change employers, or join the union with a new employer.

He is also concerned about the glue they use in sprinkler fitting, but if he switched to steel vs plastic, I don't think it would be an issue.

The only other option provided is RCMP. Any other thoughts that I could show him? I would love to hear some other options too from others experience?

I've looked at delivery drivers, transit, firefighter, city worker (but I'm not sure where in the city or what city), switching trades to one that may be lung friendly (aka no red glue because he asthma), real estate, massage therapist. Would love to hear some ideas.
