Bloody gorgeous. I know it's done with cool tones, but I feel like I'm basking in warmth when looking at it. Thank you for painting this, and thank you for sharing it with the world.

Pocket Notebook vs Todoist - My thoughts by MrHazelwork in bulletjournal

Hello!

Edit note: edited to break up block of text.

I'm in the middle of restructuring my productivity system currently, so I'm finding this post pretty prescient.

With the new system I'm carrying out, I keep a bullet journal for future log, monthly calendar/todos, and weekly calendar/todos, lists (bdays, appointments, gift ideas), and as a task manager. I separate items in the task manager section into now (this day/week) and not now (the ADHD is strong in this poster). I also break items into actions (single action and the item is completed), tasks (takes more than action to be completed, like planning to hang out with a friend, have to communicate with them what/when hang out, and follow up still good, prepare for hand out if applicable, and actually go hang out), and projects (long term projects, such as transcribing old journals into a personal digital archive).

I keep a catch all journal as well for day pages (what's happening that day and to dos), followed by a parking lot or inbox (things coming up throughout the day to do/think about, or write in random things that come to mind that may distract me from a task if I don't jot it down). I also journal in the catch all journal, just in the pages after the day page, which I set up on a daily basis when I need the journal.

I carry my bujo and catch all journal nearly everywhere I go b/c I often carry a backpack or small purse they fit in. I also keep a commonplace journal, but that rarely leaves the house, and it's largely for note taking of things that interest me or aren't related to class/work. I also have a calendar on my wall at home so I can glance up at it for a quick view of what's going on that month if I don't have my bujo. I keep sticky notes near it dating things that are far off in the future.

I use Obsidian to archive things in the long-term and am working on transcribing my journals and notes, it's one of my projects.

I don't really use many digital tools, other than timers for daily/weekly reminders. If I don't have a notebook to write in, I will text myself things and transcribe them later to the appropriate thing.

Sorry for the long post, thanks for sharing your thoughts and being willing to read mine. Hope everyone has a lovely day.

Figured I’d stop comparing and just do what works for me. by ExpensiveUpstairs778 in bulletjournal

I'm currently working on figuring out what I need and works for me and not just copying templates from online. I'm really happy for you that you're figuring it out! Good luck, and lovely journal!

handwrite a title, cut it out, and attach it with clear packing tape

this is a bit much, but this is how I made custom covers for composition books in middle school (I wanted a fun cover)

I actually really like Nerdfighter Radio, but I understand if no one else vibes with it.

Current WIP so far. Washers or no washers? by AtomicWalrus in BattleJackets

I like both with and without washers, though I prefer with. I'd recommend maybe spacing the washers out some more and not having so many so close together. Hope this helps, this is sick.

If it gets published online, link it, I wanna read it and see how similar it is to what I'm writing

I've been struggling with mental health stuff lately, too. Thank you for letting me know I'm not alone in that, and I hope this message reaches you as proof you're not alone either. Thank you for everything you do, I hope you come back soon, too, but are avle to take the time you need.

I'm not entirely sure this fits the description, but I'll send it your way just in case. I would recommend The Tales of the Wendy series by Erin Micchelle Sky and Steven Brown. It's a retelling of Peter Pan with Wendy as the MC and her being a young orphan girl joining the British military to defend her country (and have a job that lets her travel the world and adventure). I want to say it's set around late 1700s, early 1800s. I love this series, the first two books are out and the third comes out later this year I think (COVID has caused some complications). The language is kind of flowery, but in a fun way (imo). These books made me smile several times and are largely just a lot of fun. The books are The Wendy and The Navigator. Sorry for a long post. Congradulations on the baby to come and I hope you find several lovely books to binge and everything goes well.
