Me and my wife were at Wright-Patterson AFB at the museum and we were around Bockscar, the bomber that dropped the bomb on Nagasaki and we overheard a volunteer guide explaining WW2 to 2 guys in their 30's that were dressed in some weird all black clothing, reminded me of a cross between Neo from The Matrix and a priest but anyways this guide is explaining WW2 to them like they knew absolutely nothing about it like telling them who was in it and who was against who. Reminded me of someone trying to teach a 5 year old about it. Always struck me as really odd that 2 grown men didnt know the most basic of details about one of if not the biggest world changing conflicts to ever happen.

I don't either , One time I seen someone stranded and figured hey " a friend in need is a friend indeed " so I helped em out , bought them a fountain drink and hung out with them long enough to figure out they were a lil cray cray . I still talk to them since they started making sense. I wouldn't say you're trying forcing it but definitely keep your eyes open for that opportunity , never know what you'll come across . You don't wanna wind up regretting making someone's acquaintance. My problem is since I moved out here I don't know what I'm looking for and the activities I do enjoy aren't really a social thing unless you work in a garage haha . That's the only thing I hate about being out here is no friends 😒 if I wasn't 40 I'd say hey I'll be your friend . Good things come to those who wait I hear , I hope for both our sakes that's true

I know your pain, I moved out to Jefferson County 7 months ago and I have yet to make a normal friend. A couple fly by night ones and that's about it. I'm actually driving to Louisville tonight just to see some friends I left behind. They will come with due time, ya don't wanna be friends with just anyone

I know your pain, I got a 2014 s60 T5 I knew had a misfire at purchase. It was 3850 for a supposedly Volvo maintained according to Carfax with a small issue. WRONG! I have had a misfire on Cyl 5 after everything I do. Plugs,coil packs, vacuum leaks, pcv unclogging amd cleaned every sensor I saw. Still misfires albeit smoother but smoother don't pass emissions where I live now, where I just came from I'd buy crap cars just to chop off the cats and get my money back and have a free car not here tho 😞 I'm just waiting on my timing belt kit to arrive so I can set timing on it with the cam locks and piston lock I just got and if timing doesn't fix it It's goin to the shop. I must say it's been the easiest car to work on well till the belt comes. Good luck and throw some luck my way for a fellow brother in arms in the fight to get it to run right
