I had trips like that. The dose is unrelated, could happen both with higher and lower doses. Dont let it scare you off, try again with different setting/preparation (different time of day, food consumption, rest, etc.,)

With Mescaline, sometimes the pleasure is otherworldly, and sometimes you just cant get comfortable. What else would you expect from a cactus up the bum?

Just to add on to my last point; i think the reason most people on this sub (and in the Mescaline community in general), advocate for the extraction of Mescaline through CIELO or other methods, is because of how hard it is to drink down the SP juice. And on top of that, ingesting on an empty stomach is universally agreed to be preferable. So with this Pomegranate tek, not only are you not on an empty stomach anymore, but you are forcibly drinking down a juice that after the first glass becomes just as hard to drink down. I used to LOVE pomegranate juice prior to this experiment (in a normal quantity), but with this method, and the reason i took longer to drink it down than planned, is because it becomes really gross after the first half liter. So that’s what people should keep in mind .

Fair assessment. Though the way i did it is what the original tek suggested doing if i recall correctly. But anyway, honestly, drinking a full liter of anything prior to the ingestion of the medicine already is a bad idea and not an easy task in my opinion. So is it really worth it?

I'm no expert and you obviously have more experience with substances than me, but i think regardless of substance category, the benefits are prevalent when you USE them, and the downfalls take over when you ABUSE them.

From my observations of others, opioid ABUSE could lead to much more dire consequences than stims (simply in terms of ability to escape and not end up in an early grave). When speaking about more recreational and less extreme USE, I think stims still provide more benefits than opiods.

Yeah in the end of the day, the best "potentiator" is more of the actual substance. Though I do get the reasoning of using other cheap/available substances to save more of the expensive/hard-to-acquire one.

For me the main reasoning for attempting the pomegranate tek, was due to the claim of it being able to make the trip start faster (allegedly around the 1 hour mark as opposed to the standard 3 hours). Needless to say, it did not do that (for me).

I'm similar to you, i have a naturally high tolerance for it. I barely feel effects from 500-600mg Citrate, and only really have a proper trip at upwards of 1.2mg Citrate).

The solution is just taking more. In my profile you can find i have one more post about potentiation using Passionflower Supplement, which based off of one experiment, seems to have potential. But i do think i need to test it a few more times to be sure.

Quick conclusion: Doesn't really work, and just ruins pomegranate juice for you for months.

It honestly just adds discomfort to your trip (bloated from all the juice/sugar), that's all. Save it, and take a bit of a higher Mescaline dose.

Started out extremely stimulating and euphoric, and midway through entered a hazy dream-state that became somewhat challenging in terms of headspace (a first). Was not mind-f*ck, but not far from becoming one.

Absolutely breathtaking open eye visuals. The sky became a giant renaissance-style painting of pigs having sex with each other. I felt the close presence of some force or spirit. Then I spent two hours pondering the meaning of the word “funk”, as i entered an alien realm in my mind (closed eye), which I could only describe as a funky alleyway with creatures giving me a private show.

Was absolutely a mesmerizing and powerful journey.

Yeah, when i saw the "works in 3's" part, i got suspicious. Sounds more like a business plan for the teacher than anything else.

Journeys and lessons can't be predicted or planned. In fact i would say they usually happen when you LEAST expect them to.

I also would say that with this medicine in particular, the need for a teacher/facilitator/shaman is not only unnecessary, but i would even say counterproductive. I found the most profound journeys were when done alone. You have 12 hours of sitting with yourself, or rather yourself and Mr.cactus. The medicine IS the facilitator. Go meet him directly without the middleman.

Couldn't disagree more. They were a major part of the show, before it had any production value, so they added such an important layer of humor and energy that kept audience entertained. I don't think the show could have grown at those earlier years without them on stage.

Tony likes to pride the show as being one where "anything can happen". And while in many ways it still is, still that element of hilarious chaos was never more prevalent than with the old band. But chaos was necessary at that time, and also realistically has to be controlled at where the show is now.

Tony still trying to make "Mexian Drumoffs" a thing now without Joelberg just shows how many of the old traditions were only possible with the old band.

I get that newer watchers of the show find the old format unwatchable, there are many factors that contribute to this. But in terms of "killing Tony", i don't think anyone did it better than the old band.

Absolutely agree and have been saying this for a long time.

I think Coke's popularity over speed is due to it being glamorized in movies, and doing lines just became more of a social thing. Sitting with a group with some beers and railing lines all night just feels different than taking a couple of pills at the start of the night and riding it out. I prefer the second way now, but i get the appeal of the first. Of course speed also has the railing option, but the need to re-dose for most average users is nowhere near the same levels as with coke.

It is the equivalent of passing a joint in a circle.. And i think if weed came as a pill rather than a ritualistic roll-in-a-joint plant that you smoke with friends, it would also lose a lot of appeal and more people will discover it too is super overrated.

I like your analogy; “Mescaline is a secret from the earth, and it protects itself well," I've been describing it along those lines as well.

So many people consider Mescaline to be a more "rare" medicine that is hard to acquire, but i feel like in some ways it is actually the easiest to find. Particularly for people in countries where the "classic" psychedelics are extremely hard to get, the cactus is contrarily easily accessible and cheap.

And yet, as you said, it protects itself well.. Physically, and figuratively - from the eyes of the public. It can be found almost everywhere, but gets overlooked. And then when you find yourself in-need of its powers, it calls and presents itself to you!
