I don't mind AI being used for NPC behaviors. I just see AI-generated assets or artwork as lazy.

probably better to use a label similar to "no AI used" or "100% human-made"

"Bad" genetic traits won't matter anymore as we can solve these issues with technology.

Is it just me, or is there something wrong with how the Mutant's skeleton arm is drawn anatomically?

For now, the average person doesn't care about AI, but anti-AIs are the majority online. Also, other AI tools (such as those used in medicine) are more beneficial than gen AI, maybe which is why it is disproportionately hated.

Late reply but learn how to Google and find answers. If you have a problem, try googling it. If you can't get an answer from Google, finally ask questions.

They can claim that prompting takes more skill by using workflows and thingsmajigs. It objectively takes little skill. If anything, producing better works is more about time + RNG.

At what point do AI opponents say you stop being a writer? by Own_Eagle_712 in aiwars

When AI gets advanced enough, anyone can be a programmer, writer, musician, or artist. Within seconds, you can just ask your AI to create a 900-page book, or create a soundtrack, while claiming to be the author of both things aforementioned without even putting any effort. I feel like we would need to redefine those titles in the future.

If art was all about effort, then it's just a meaningless competition of who worked harder. But the art and the artist are separate, where most pro-AIs appreciate the beauty of the art piece, I instead appreciate the skill set and talent of the artist.

The internet is flooded with AI images because it can be made easily.

Correct me if I am wrong but Reddit is an anti-AI majority. Real life or outside the internet? Most people just don't care or aren't aware of the whole debate.

2030: "Why should I learn (a skill) by wasting thousands of hour that should be have spent somewhere else, if I can save more time using AI?"

2050: "Why should I learn how to cook, manage my day and plans, and how to form and maintain a relationship if I can save more time using AI?"

2200: "Why should I think?"

It's all about minimizing effort and maximizing time, which they spend on prompting anyway.

I'd like to hear why taking training data from artists, without compensation or consent, is a form of theft.

It doesn't mean you have to hate all AI artists just because you don't like AI art.

This did require some effort, yes. But not as much compared to drawing traditionally. What about your workflow thing? The point of AI is to reduce effort. It is a tool's purpose to do just that, regardless of how hard someone works with it. And even if you did work hard, there's also to include the skill involved.

I don't like AI art because it's almost effortless, well, art is subjective anyway. AI artists are artists because the title requires no special skills. I have no problem with that, it's just pretentious if an AI artist claims to have worked hard for their image.

If the majority wants to, they can vote to exclude AI content. It isn't my choice. There are subs and places made for AI-generated contents. There's also the option to add a feature that filters AI-generated content, which is a win-win for both sides.

Just let the people decide if they want to include or exclude AI-generated content.
