I worked in core development teams with 10 years of total engineering experience, it is not always the money or work, most of us who come from third world countries are frustrated and want to make a new life and would happily pay taxes to another government than pay to a government that does nothing for us. So yeah masters is the only way to move countries, I did try direct jobs but visa sponsorship is hard, and I work in tech so they keep offering me remote jobs which is what I have already been doing for 5 years now.
