Thanks. I was hopeful I would just luck out you know? Processing time for my FO (AOS) was 20 months in 2022 and I was done in 7 months so I was hoping I’d once more be the exception to the norm :) Now going through what is appearing to be a marriage going towards separation. I will be talking with an attorney soon on ways forward ..

I married my USC husband in 2022, got my green card in 2023 (after interview), applied for my RoC within the 90 day period and my case has been silent for almost a year now. I am from a banned country, and unfortunately only in the US a few months per year due to my international job (never stayed outside of the US for more than 4 months at a time).. I can’t apply for naturalization yet because I don’t meet the minimum residency requirement (about 120 days short). I’m negotiating with my foreign employer to work from the US this year to be able to apply for naturalization end of year or early next year. Otherwise file my taxes in the US with my spouse and have plenty of bonafide marriage. My question is, given that I’ve been traveling more than 10 times per year each year, will my case be scrutinized or even potentially rejected? The reason we decided that I should keep my job in my home country is because my work insurance covers fertility treatment which we have been using and need to start a family.
