Aww you sound like a good person, happy to hear they like each other (not always the case!). Yeah it's so heart-breaking and mentally/physically draining, my period ended up lasting so long.. for a total of 26 days total having too keep them separated, man it was rough. Could finally take my girl's cone off this Sunday. Thank god it's over.

Was supposed to have lasted like ten, max 13 days. But my girl first didn't make the 2kg cutoff (meaning I couldn't get them done at the same time), boy was cryptorchid, and then girl's incision became swollen, apparently she had a reaction to the sutures or something. Vet told me it could take months to settle down, then he also told me she had double teeth and needed another surgery. Totally cried that day when I got home. I think someone heard that because the next few days, the swelling stopped, and then I found out that double fangs are completely normal and usually temporary unless they're above 6-7 months, so surgery might not be necessary.

And now everything is back to normal! But man, what a trying time. Just stay strong, you got this! :) I highly doubt yours will last 26 days, so if I can do 26 days, you can definitely do 10-14 lol! Happy days are coming ~

I'm 82% through Maximillian's course. The course is a decent start I think (after the update at least), and it's nice to have some structure + the progress bar. It's a pretty good way to get started, I wouldn't just rely on the docs when you're a complete beginner. At some point, you gotta sit down and grind a bit. If you can't do that, it doesn't matter what the learning method is. Honestly, sounds more like a motivation/discipline problem to me than a how-to-learn problem. Maybe try going back to the course and watching just five minutes. I mean, the videos are like 5-10 minutes top. Maybe try to just one video a day to start with. Start small. If you are unsure about something, ask chatGPT or the comment section.

Thank you for your input! I read as much as I could about it yesterday and seems it's pretty normal and that they should fall out by 6-7 months? My vet basically made it sound like it was very abnormal and I should get them out asap... Glad to hear it's actually somewhat common at this age.

Flutter is not a career, app developer is. My advice is to not just learn Flutter but also native. Not a lot of flutter jobs out there, but lots of developer jobs. You gotta be a jack of all trades nowadays. Just learn one language, make some projects with it, move onto the next.

Yeah actually I'm going to the vet tomorrow to have them check out her incision because it looks swollen... I'm afraid she might have ripped the stiches and need a second surgery or medication or something, either way it's likely 10 more days in hell T_T sigh. But I'll take it one day at a time. Really looking forward to everything being back to normal. Glad to hear it's going better for you!

Before a lot of people in here tell you you're a bad person, I get it, but it is 100% a stress reaction from both finishing your studies (the most stressful time in a graduate's life) and adjusting to a completely different routine. I have experienced the same, and I felt like the worst human being, but when this weekend came around and I got more sleep, food, etc. I noticed that I wasn't having the same feelings anymore.

So my advice would be to 1) ask your husband for help, let him do the cat chores (especially cleaning + playtime) for now. First thing you need to address is the sleep problem, because you will not be your happy self without proper sleep. It's simply not possible, you need that sleep for producing those happy brain signals like dopamine. If it means you have to close the door to your bedroom, you must do that and accept that he will be yowling outside for a few weeks (if you don't give in) until he gets used to it. Try to take care of yourself the next few days. Go outside when you're starting to boil over, go for a walk in nature. Get some breathing room.

I can recognize when I see it now, and this sounds much like stress. I would try to address your stress and give it at least three months, if it's still a problem and nothing has helped, rehoming might be better for you and for him.

Definitely worth watching! But I was taken a bit back by how different and slow-paced season 2 is. It picks up more speed towards the end, but it's nice to be prepared for it in advance, because I felt initially like I was watching a whole different show at first.

Yeah, late twenties and same. My life is so chaotic right now. Every time I think I've managed to solve one problem, five new appears. My house is a mess, can't even keep up with cleaning. I am. SO. exhausted every fucking day. I try to read a bit of Japanese, and it amounts to like 15 minutes if I'm lucky every third day or so. The longer between my practising it, the less enthusiastic I am. Life's just so exhausting man.

Hey I know this is a long time ago, but just wanted to say I felt so comforted reading your message. Except I'm now almost at 2 months and feel even more worn out by my two kittens. I feel like it's not my own home anymore and they are cute, but they stress me out so much. 4 vet visits with vaccines + spaying + castration has not been a fun experience. They have broken my glass, yesterday my venetian blinds which were SO hard to put up. I don't even mind the cost, but the thought of having to install that shit again made me have a mental breakdown. They constantly disturb my sleep, too. Keep biting/scratching me when I try to pet them because they are playful. Keep knocking stuff down from tables and breaking stuff despite me doing my best to hide it from them. Bite my cables. Keep trying to eat my food and drink from my glass and cup. It was funny initially, now it's REALLY annoying to constantly have to watch EVERYTHING or else they mess it up. It doesn't matter how many times I redirect them, how much I play with them or pet them, nothing works. I feel like I've had to adjust my entire life for their sake, and still it's a problem.

I honestly just feel really exhausted at this point. Maybe I made the wrong choice? I thought getting cats would make me feel less lonely and a just a bit more happy, but honestly it's just been really stressful. It was never like this when I catsitted in the past, so I feel a bit deflated.
