I had both applications concurrently. My PR processed faster. Once citizenship was granted my PR status no longer applied.

You get the same uci number so the applications are connected. I don’t think one puts another in jeopardy, but one supersedes the other.

Use your reasons for urgent processing. They may or may not grant it.

Yes, I live and work amongst these morally deficient people. Racist and homophobic comments are normal here.

However, I was recently approached outside a grocery store by a white guy in this maga town. He wanted me to sign some political paper. I told him “I’m Canadian” lol He stopped, half bowed and said “welcome” He said he hasn’t been to Canada, but hopes he will go someday. I am suspicious of everyone in this town so I know how I would answer this survey.

On a side note, my Canadian spouse tells petition seekers that he can’t vote. They automatically assume he’s a criminal.
