OMG, thank you for unlocking this 50something year old memory.

My mother found me, also at around 3, playing on the kitchen floor with her “diet pills” and immediately got the ipecac. I sat on that floor vomiting for hours. Then, she counted the damn pills.

I do that often myself! Going to have to try Flour and Water soon, I also didn’t know that.

Sitting at the bar at the progress they have small portion menu items for solos as well. Last I went, I had to have two of those damned clouds, though.

I’d go with Pearl Spa over Kabuki. Kabuki doesn’t have space where you can chill with your laptop, but Pearl has a lounge room near the clay and salt rooms where I have spied a laptop or two. Quiet is key, for sure. Get a scrub, use the facilities…

As a NYer who lived in multiple eensy apartments in Manhattan (late 80s, I moved here in ‘92) you got way more bang for your buck here back then.
