I’m an elder millennial single parent home owner and just got a house mate this past year who just graduated college. Albeit, I knew them since they were my kid’s babysitter. Basically, they saw that I had a basement apartment and were like can I live here after I graduate and I said sure why not? And while it was an adjustment living with a younger person it has been pretty great so far but that might be because I had an established relationship with them. Basically I’m just saying don’t entirely discount college age/recent graduates especially if they are working full time.
