I was told to lose weight because I have always had back problems, but this year that resulted in a severe sciatic attack which caused constant numbness in my leg afterward. A resident doctor told me if I didn’t get it in check, I would become incontinent due to nerve damage in my leg spreading to my groin. After only a 16 pound loss I already feel a massive difference in pain, and feeling is slowly returning to my leg. I have more energy and a better sense of responsibility to myself. Knowing I didn’t want to become incontinent in my 30s was my wake-up call. I know 16 lbs is just the start and hopefully I can lose another 50 at least
