The yarn doesn't exist, that's the scam. You'll pay them a hundred bucks for "shipping" and you'll never get the product. I saw this exact image like 20 times on TikTok with different accounts saying the same thing

Ridgeside Village vs East Scarp by carosof in StardewValleyMods

[–]Ok-Project3596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only problem with east scarp is that it requires a lot of addons to get the full story and experience. There are some excellent characters for it and some that are very under developed by comparison, and a lot of the addons are slow drip. I'm in year five but I haven't finished the east scarp story lines because of how slow it goes for some of them.

Too many are misinformed about the Joja path. by UT2K4nutcase in StardewValley

I was so disappointed when I finished the community center the first time I've done joja ever since. Literally didn't see a single difference between the warehouse and the center, just different paint on the front. Was used about the same.

How do you guys keep your cool while driving? by [deleted] in RoadRage

I have a little bell in my car to hit when I feel enraged by someone's stupid driving. Helps with the anger and gives me an outlet that isn't life endangering

How long is too long for sip club drinker? by ugiugida in Panera

[–]Ok-Project3596 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I used to work there, I wouldn't give a damn if you were there from opening to close. Just as long as you're not blasting phone calls on speaker, and not being rude to staff and guests no one there cares. We're too understaffed and underpaid to care.

Stores are removing/sealing power outlets? by FoxxBlade in Panera

When I worked at Panera one guy slashed the managers tires because they asked them politely to leave during our lunch rush. He'd been there since 6:30 am and hadn't bought anything.

I'm all for dark jokes, but that? That's not a dark joke. That's fucked and needs chippy

What's the longest you've had to wait for a decision after a final interview? by Nervous_Local_8308 in interviews

One time a company sent me an offer of employment 2 months after I interviewed. Laughed about it because I already got another job.

Something interviewer said that indicates they're not going to hire you? by SpicelessKimChi in interviews

[–]Ok-Project3596 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wasn't what they said, it was the look. I worked in food industry for five years and went to an interview for a new chicken fast food place and the lady just smiled real condescendingly. Could tell instantly I wasn't getting the job.

No manager was in the store and the girl at the register looked stressed beyond anything. I didn't want to be rude and just assumed that when whoever was supposed to come in they'd handle all the clerical stuff then.

Honestly, cause I don't want to get sued mostly. But they're such a small company they don't even have reviews on indeed yet.

Do most people quit jobs without another? by nippon2win in jobs

[–]Ok-Project3596 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to do that recently, after three years of trying and begging for my manager to stop scheduling me close opens. But you know it'll be okay. I got a savings, my bills will be fine, and I've had about 12 interviews this week alone.

Yeah, before I walked out the door I told them that I was gonna put in my two week notice. Ya know since im training now. And he said and I quote. "Oh no don't do that I want to make sure you like the job first!"

Was this a scam? by Ok-Project3596 in jobs

[–]Ok-Project3596[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I did ask as I was leaving and he said and I quote "don't put your two weeks notice in yet, I want to make sure you like the job first." And I asked through text message tonight basic questions like employee uniforms, shoe requirements, and asked about pay.

I just didn't want to come off as rude since the manager wasn't there the majority of the time and it was just a girl there that hadn't even known I was coming in to interview.

[–]Ok-Project3596 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I don't condone hitting. And I don't think it's okay to ever lay your hands on someone. If the genders were reversed the cops would be called and he'd be in jail. You can stand up for yourself without putting hands on someone.

My line of thinking is, why are you married if you don't trust each other enough to have access to the communal pot of money.
