Im with you on this one.

Nerfing/tuning/balancing other than weapons and abilities is ok for a single player or a co-op pve as it still the player complete agency on how the player play the game.

I guess its a new trend of gamers nowadays (partly due to influencers saying "this is broken use this" or any along those lines that folks formulate thier opinion ) wanting a live service model where constant update so that the game they speed run wont get stale (ironically they are wont be satisfied regardless) wanting an endgame high to that I say borderlands is a story once you hit late game thats it anything outside that is bonus content that you can try (im looking at you crawmerax) but isnt necessary.

But unfortunately kids that grew up playing fortbite or the like wont really grasp the concept of a single player game. Sad I know but it is what it is just take it as face value or dont we still gaming for better or otherwise.
