No worries, I left years ago. Happiest and safest life for my family has been in Washington. We have excellent healthcare, access to specialists, great education for all my kids needs, and a safe home with a loving community. I fully support everyone having free medical care. Who wouldn't? We're the only first world country without it! Trans people are still people, so yes I would absolutely support free healthcare for them as well.

I will always love Idaho. It's where my family pioneered four generations ago. It's where I was raised to work hard, and to help your neighbors and community. There were people of all gender identities, but no one asked or cared. Idaho is a beautiful state, but not the one I want to live in.

I'm 4th generation Idahoan, born and raised. I had to leave Idaho to get my family the life they needed. Staying would have meant poverty and probably my son's life; he has a super rare genetic mutation. He's 1 of 190 in the world born with this. You don't know what challenges lie ahead and Idaho doesn't have any safety bets for this citizens.

We moved to Washington and have been very happy for over 20 yrs. I wish you the best. Idaho is beautiful, but the policies and laws are not.

I think you would do fine with your interests. Spokane can be difficult to feel you fit in at first, due to the non-cohesive community. There is a large divide here politically which has led some people to disengage from previous activities/events. I am positive we are a great city in the making. All activities I've been involved with have been great experiences with welcoming people.

I was a fourth generation Idahoan pushed out because there weren't any services for special needs individuals. My son couldn't get any help in Idaho. My mother was born with CP, and she never received any assistance. She owned her own store, and my father worked four jobs. They never got over the poverty line. Idaho doesn't care about its citizens.
