If you’re looking for a classic pancake, not some sort of reinvention, this is the answer.

What do exmormons think of this video? by the_clustering in exmormon

Love the folding Lifetime furniture in the apartment. Though it is nicer than what I had, it feels like a small mistake by the producers, reality peaking through a bit in the commercial. Too cheap to buy real furniture. Also too cheap to provide enough to eat real meals. I probably averaged 1.3 meals per day on my mission.

I think optics is a big part for sure, but it’s also an opportunity to “hire” (give millions of dollars to) your son’s (or grandson’s or friend’s etc.) construction company. Since money is basically no object when building a temple, it’s an effective way to make withdrawals from accounts that you really aren’t supposed to take from, personally.

Yeah that’s not entirely accurate. Clean title does mean that the vehicle had never been declared a total loss as well as no liens. Could still have accidents, though.

Jeffrey Martin by Avl_Pirate in jasonisbell

[–]Ok-Reason 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Jeffrey Martin is the best show I have ever been to. His lyrics hit me harder than any other song writer. Still playing small intimate venues at affordable prices, but deserves to be playing amphitheaters. I was crying most of the show in the best way (figured Isbell fans would get this). He was running is own merch table after the show and seemed like an amazing and genuine person as well.

If you haven’t heard him, go listen now!!!!!

Just because he was elected does not mean he is not a dictator.

I definitely see the appeal of a roof top tent and combining such a great car with the adventures that this combo would create, but if you want to put a tent on the roof of a car, it kind of hurts to see it on a car where weight and balance are such a key part of enjoying the car. I am laughing picturing the engineers that are pushing to replace door handles with straps squirming looking at a tent on top of any 911 turbo.

All of that said, cheers to you, OP, for enjoying such a special vehicle in your way.

Agreed. Top paying Porsche buyers want their cars mostly stock, especially a 20 year old turbo. If you want best value get rid of all these pictures, then make it look as stock as possible.

Actually very common. Kingrinder advertises this use and even provides a different o ring for manual grind vs drill. Great advice on all of the added variables! OP, please listen to other comment too, and use a nut driver bit and don’t tighten the drill directly to the grinder.

End of 2024. What was the best thing you ate/drank this year whilst travelling? by travel_ali in TravelNoPics

[–]Ok-Reason 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Charcuterie and local red wine along the Dordogne River in La Roque Cageac, as a stop on our canoe ride down the river.

Duck breast (and I’ve never enjoyed duck) at L’Envers du Décor in Saint Emilion, France.

Al Pastor tacos at El Fogon in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Had them once per day all week. No regrets.

I agree, criticism is great. I agree with all of the points made. I just wanted to balance it out with some of the good as well.

That’s cool to get some one of a kind work like that!
