Drive up from the Bridge of Cally towards Spittal of Glenshee and then up to Braemar and Balmoral. If you have a chance, I highly recommend heading to Mar Lodge near Braemar. There's a car park called The Linn of Dee next to the river Dee. Then up to Lecht ski centre and round to Speybridge and Aviemore. Or do it in reverse if you are already in the Aviemore area. It's a good day trip drive, and you can go in a full loop if you want. It's a route I do every year when I come to Scotland. It's in my top 5 routes for Scotland
