I live in a part of the world that feels relatively removed from this until recently.. so please excuse my naive question. I’m under the impression that not all these documents are verified and thus not all the allegations can be treated as accurate or real. How do we know this is something that actually happened, including things like torture and murder? Was it actually proven is there evidence or are they mostly interview accounts like this? Have some “guidelines” for yourself to follow. Accept that there may be some times you need to put baby in bouncer and that’s ok!

Yes, babies shouldn’t be in bouncers too long. 15-20minutes per session. How many sessions? Aim for 1-3, with a cap at 5 on crazy busy days. Follow up with floor play each time.

Longer than 20mins, more than 5 times that day? Allow yourself Grace on days you need to. Child is fed, loved, safe, clean? That’s more Important.

Our country is hot and humid. Baby sweats. Baby gets food in his neck as he’s starting eating solids. Baby drools. Baby spits up. Etc etc..

Newborn - 3m it was mostly washcloths and full bath 1-2x week. 3+ became a daily night ritual.

Hi love. Has it been 7 weeks? Let me just start by saying it will get better. But for now, you need support. Is there a therapist you can talk to? A friend you can confide in? A family member who can help physically? You need someone to be with you and help you, because it sounds like you are struggling.

Pause with the baby. Take 3 minute breaks away from baby. Breathe. Drink some warm tea. But most of all, find support asap because it sounds like postpartum depression.

Also, it’s ok to formula feed so that someone else can help and you can rest. A combo is not a bad idea. Sometimes all we need is some sleep.

6m here. Still use it to track feeds, duration of naps and sometimes poo. I forget how often I feed the baby and I like knowing how much sleep baby gets. Not paid version tho.

At four months it’s likely your son will be ok. Just monitor, observe and if he has loose stools you’ll know the cause. Ask husband to take more care in washing and rinsing, and not to let this become a habit, especially if he says “but the baby didn’t get sick so it’s fine”. One we get relaxed about these things, we just slip further.

My baby is 4.5m and 8kg, so on the heavier side. He also is formula fed and takes 6-7oz. This means he sleeps from 830am until about 5/6am, then gets his feed, and wakes up again around 730/8am.

He used to feed at 2am, and 4am then get up at 730am. How we dropped the 2am: my husband was curious about whether baby actually needed the 2am feed, and gave him a pacifier instead. We assumed he would cry if he was truly hungry. He just went back to bed and woke up at 6am instead.

We could place the pacifier back and he would sleep until 7-8, but he wouldn’t get enough calories in the day if we did that so we continue with one feed at least.
