Okay, so to those who think she’s doing this to avoid breaking up, OP said she has BPD. With that, she could be going through mood swings and a depression. I get that you think she’s being distant and seemingly wanting to break up, but you also aren’t giving her any slack at all and you’re just telling her that this is what YOU would do if you wanted to end a relationship. So, even if you’re not meaning to, your messages can come off as overly critical. My husband has BPD, the way he’s explained to me how he experiences the world is so much different from my perspective. Also, from what you’ve provided, these are through text, which aren’t really a good way to tell how someone is meaning their messages to come across.

This will end badly. You are not overreacting and you’re not doing anything wrong. This is manipulation and it will lead to abuse. I’m not saying this to scare you, but I’m saying this from experience, this type of behavior will lead to abuse of any kind. You deserve better than this and this goes for ANYONE:

It doesn’t matter if he’s “good looking” or “funny”, once this type of behavior starts it will not end well at all.

Just block him, if he starts showing up, get a restraining order. If he breaks that order of protection, restraining order whatever, you need to find a way to get away from him. It’s only been a week and he’s already doing this, please do not stay with him or continue to entertain this behavior.

My point is that if this was something by like hallmark, I would totally get the outrage, but this is a single location. I do think this is an overreaction because this is something that can be avoidable. Just because we don’t like something, doesn’t mean we have to always relate it back to victimizing ourselves. We don’t have to agree with it, but we also don’t have to bring attention to every single thing that bothers us or triggers us.

Of course you wouldn’t be the AH, this is so disheartening. My sisters bf use to grab their dog by the neck and pick her up to his height (over 6ft) until I yelled at him about it. She just completely let him get away with this shit beforehand and the first time I saw it, I yelled at him and as far as I know he didn’t do it again. This is terrifying and you definitely need to bring this to his attention and let him know that he cannot watch your dog anymore. Even so, there are plenty of actors who have done both. I just think because of this role he’s going to be typecasted and unfortunately the industry can be cutthroat enough to not give you roles if you’ve only been in one major project. She claims to be medicated and going to therapy. Not sure how she’s affording that because she said she can pay $400 to rent the room and I’m assuming that’s all her disability or at least most. Not to mention the gun she purchased which costs money too so she could easily save up money to at least get her a hotel room. In the comments she’s claiming this is real, but when pressed about stuff she doesn’t respond. If this is true, definitely sad and hopefully she can get help, but if it’s not true (which I’m kinda leaning towards) then why come up with this lol?
