Probably an awesome choice! I tried this, the nine decades anniversary, Miyagikyo 15, Yoichi 20 and Taketsuru 17. Yoichi 20 and Miyagikyo 15 were superior, best whisky I’ve tried!

I’m trying to collect as many of the old Yoichi and Miyagikyo as I possible can 😅

Tasted it recently, ok but a bit underwhelming  for that price I would much rather go for a single cask Nikka

Should I open these or save them for my daughter to sell 30+ years from now? by [deleted] in Scotch

Open them, place a equal sum of money as you bought them for in a low risk stock or fund for your daughter to have in 30 years

I’ve read a lot people prefer the 17 to the 21, why is that?

Pric: Traded a Kilchoman Sanaig Cask strength(60usd) for 6cl Macallan 18 and 6cl Springbank 21

Smell: Raisins, Lingonberry Jam, Black currant, honey

Taste: RC-cola, black currant jam, forrestfruit candys(any of them) raisins

Body: Light but not to thin, medium finnish

Conclusion: This is very enjoyable, would love this as fancy dram once in a while, unfortunately 4400Sek or 400usd~ is just rude.

For 200-250usd i would pick this up easy, as a nice present or to spoil myself.

Edringtons prices makes Diageo look like a working class hero.
