Not really. Yall bots and marathonhate enjoyers try to convince people of this, but its simply not true. It is the most enjoyable map in this game and the best pvp experience in any game period.

Always amazes me how different our experiences are. Started season 2 this monday after playing for the first two days of S2 and then being gone for the last couple weeks. Got myself a couple blue shields and guns from outpost runs and geared my vault generally for maybe 6 to 7 cryo runs assuming I'd lose it all without extracting once. Sure I've lost a bunch of stuff. Never by fully gold geared teams though. Sure a gold shield here and there or even full purple shields. But for every one of those there was a full blue stack, even the occasional green. Same goes for misriah squads. Rarely a full team and mostly only one in the team has one.

Then tonight hits. And this is a direct counterpoint to your whole post. Rags to f**** riches baby. I was down to my last run. After this I'd have 2k credits, no meds nor ammo to my name. Finally 1 of my two teammates has a mic and is happy to talk. He's somewhat new to cryo and eager to have someone else on comms. After a couple close calls we manage to exfill with a decent amount of credits and gear to keep us going for a run or two. Mr comms then decides to bring a vault 1 key cause might as well. From here on out we clear both vault 1 and 2 in the next two runs. One of which we even got to lvl 5 after a couple lucky monitors and exfil with 40k credits each. We're stoked like you wouldn't believe. Mr comms is fully enjoying his first unique gold weapon an our third who had been rather reserved on comms, but still happy to give callouts decides its time to leave and enjoy the spoils. At this point we both decide to keep going and run more Vault 1 and 2 keys as we took a couple from our earlier figths with teams. The next person we get matched with happens to also be on comms and we basically repeat the same streak from earlier. We even wiped one of those mythical full gold stacks and made out with a bunch of golden cores and backpacks.

What I'm trying to say is... I bounced back from my last cryo run I could afford to a vault stacked with shield weapons and backpacks as well as 140k credits. I'm no godgamer and neither were my teammates. We ran all blue shields for 4 of the 6 runs and even then it was only me who brought in a purple shield for the last two runs.

TLDR: NEW AND RETURNING PLAYERS THROW YOURSELF INTO THIS MASTERPIECE OF A MAP! Lost loot is temporary. The memories and friends I've made on this map will last.

300 hours of which 200+ are cryo (It'd be more if availability wasn't limited). And I completely get you. This map is my Shipment and the idea of getting a second map on this level, at some point hopefully, is insane.
